ClaphamFox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 For some reason Chelsea started pre season 3 weeks before the season started! We aren't amateur like that! He'll be in the best condition he's ever been here! 28 goals in 44 is outstanding! Why are people moaning! He knows the league and has the ability to score vital goals! Yes he was poor away at arsenal! But he changed the game at our place! Did somebody give you a box of exclamation marks for Christmas?
Gold Coast Fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Cricky moaning about Remy.! Elvis Hammond anybody!! Those were the days
formidable1 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 At the cost of around 12 million, it would be a cheap gamble if he gets 5-6 goals and we make top 4.
Jordan Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 If Loïc Rémy were white, there would be no myths about him not being a team player. Jose Mourinho also never had a bad word to say about Rémy's work ethic, and neither did Harry Redknapp. There, I said it. Rémy's just had some injuries and the buy-out clauses he's had in his contracts probably were there to afford a few parties some protection. It was absolutely worth the gamble for Chelsea last season, but they're obviously in a much different situation this year and have to consider making serious changes to their squad at all positions.
RedSoxUK Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Danny Simpson was at qpr and newcastle and seems to a real team spirit guy. Very true.
MPH Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Are they the same people who thought Chelsea would win the league and we'd get relegated? To be fair, most of foxestalk thought that COULD be a likely scenario at the beginning of the season..

That's really sad you would randomly bring someone's color into it...

Don't agree that race has anything to do with anything, probably more to do with demeanour rather that it being, what your suggesting as a racist thing, or at best stereotyping.Me personally, I would prefer a younger, less injury prone player in, but the way our attempts to bring in a striker appear to be going, I would accept him as a short term player, as he is better than Leo and Okazaki, IF fit.

SheppyFox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 That's really sad you would randomly bring someone's color into it... Get the PC Red Tape out! Quick!
desertfox2 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Only when he plays, which with his injuries isn't often. 11.5 million would be great business if he stays injury free thoughRight now we only need him to be injury free for 15 games. And we have the cryochambre....

I think what he was getting at is that in recent years there have been more reported incidents of lazy/ bad attitude in players from the sub continent than other areas. That of course isn't suggesting there aren't loads of white players with shite attitudes and sick notes in back pockets. Adebayor and Anelka, fine examples.

Doesn't that kind of invalidate what you said above????? Anelka and Adebayor are no more white than I'm an eskimo
formidable1 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 It's not about being PC just seemed a strange thing to bring up. Joey Barton is white and he's a cnut But for every Joey Barton there is two Adebayors and Adel Tarabats!

Hack Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Something must be going down if one of our own players are commenting on him He will be announced I am sure on Monday. Hopefully with Musa!
formidable1 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Fine examples of Black players. Doesn't that kind of invalidate what you said above????? No, he was alluding to reported cases that we know about and the facts are we hear of more black players having apparent issues. No racism , just stats.
Buce Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Ha ha. Not sure I have to be fair! They don't look white, to me.
