Nick Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Something from football411 on news now saying that he's likely to stay in Moscow. Link and story won't even work for me though. Maybe we have had enough? Remy and Musa would be insane, surely. Hope we get one of them.
simon789us Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Of course he will stay in Moscow unless someone offers a sum that cska will accept
Grey Fox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 As much as I want this guy here, his release clause is pretty much double what we have reportedly bid for Remy. Is he really twice the player?
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 As much as I want this guy here, his release clause is pretty much double what we have reportedly bid for Remy. Is he really twice the player? From what we've been told, he's twice the fit. If what we've read about Musa's pace, attitude and work rate are true then he's the closest thing we're going to find to Vardy. Vardy is 29, Musa is 23, we have no replacement for Vardy even if he gets injured let alone what happens when his pace starts to go.

Both would be amazing, Musa on the left, Remy down the middle with Vardy, and Mahrez on the right. Name me a better front 4 in the league. We could also use Musa in a 4 3 3 with Amartey coming in to the middle and a front 3 of Musa, Vardy and Mahrez. It's exciting no matter which way you look at it.
Will1981 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 23 in Nigerian years, one Nigerian year is the equivalent of 0.75 of our years. that makes him 17.

Which is harsh.I think we'd play KS The normal back four DD Amartey Kante Mahrez Vardy Musa I don't see a place for both Remy and Musa at the moment. It would be a good problem to have to deal with though.
4everfox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 23 in Nigerian years, one Nigerian year is the equivalent of 0.75 of our years. Ahmed Musa - The man who defies relativity

DD and Kante right now for sure. Amartey has to show us that he deserves a place. I hope he does. If he manages to shift one of those two on current form then we have a player on our hands. I can see us going 4 3 3 against Man City and Arsenal, but I still think we will go 4 4 2 as much as we can, no matter who we sign.
Countryfox Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 that makes him 17. Correct ... Just over 17 to be precise ..... He does do maths !
Guest Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Musa every day of the week for me. Remy is good but 11mil and will have little to no resale value. Musa being 23 will fetch a tidy sum in a few years if we need or want to sell

Sort of agree, but I think the 'shape' would be closer to a 4-1-4-1, Amartey holding with the other four midfield further up the park to close the opposition right down in their own half. N'Golo and Drinky intercepting and winning possession and off we jolly well go, marvellous!
artursteppe Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Correct ... Just over 17 to be precise ..... He does do maths ! I think it would make him nearly 31! 23 would only be 75% of his 'English' age.
Guest Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Ahmed Musa - The man who defies relativity What? He said no to his Dad?
Nick Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Still alive. Maybe we submitted our final bid and told them that was it and moved back to Remy? Deal is apparently still alive if the right offer comes in. http://www.football411.com/story/0,22162,14322_122337,00.html
Max Power Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Same agent quotes as a few days ago aren't they?

Maybe the usual 'age comparison' would help; 1 dog year = 7 human years (number is > 1 i.e. a 20 year old dog is same as a 140 year old human) If Shade's correct (cough); 1 Nigerian year = 0.75 UK years (number is < 1 i.e. a 20 year old Nigerian is the same as 15 year old UK resident) But of course, Shade is being silly and they don't age any faster. They're just not born til they're 6.

formidable1 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 They use a different calender. 'Tis true, the Gregorian calendar isn't recognised at the latitude Nigeria is on.
