Bagworthblue Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 It's all levels. Once you start dealing in millions it's just the same as dealing in hundreds or thousands but with more noughts. All the principles stay the same but the upside is that 10% profit on £100 is a tenner and 10% of a million is £100,000 and you can buy a lot more with £100,000 than a tenner. Trust be I deal with and negotiate multi million £ contracts week in week out and I have to justify the spend down to 10s of 1000s.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Didn't Vichai spend an extra £20 million or so to get the plane early, they have serious wealth, a few million to them to get the right player is like me having or not having a dessert next time I go out for a meal. As said our scouting and recruiting team have earned the right, some laughed when £180 million was being mentioned being spent on the squad, reckon our squad is worth more than that now. If it's cheesecake it's a jo brainer!
Guest Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Pep , Pretty sure most of us could be a success at bayern or barca Sam Allardyce, is that you?
trabuch Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I'll feel a bit sad if we don't sign him. But the beating Liverpool will sort that shit out.
psychonaut Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 This is good as done n dusted. If we're willing to smash our transfer record to peices for this guy then it would be illogical to back out 10 metres from the finishing line.
trabuch Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I hope so. Everyone else who's been talked about just doesn't seem quite as good a fit as Musa.
katieakita Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Trust be I deal with and negotiate multi million £ contracts week in week out and I have to justify the spend down to 10s of 1000s. I run a Post Office they are government owned and have spent £2 billion and are not held to account so things can be very different from business to business. The spend on players and their value now shows how successful our scouting team are. Also of course if we aim to continue to keep our best players we have to match their ambitions. A CL place should help us keep our best players we miss out and the likes of Mahrez,Vardy and Kante may be tempted elsewhere, Our owners have incredible wealth, our recruitment team can point to their spend and player value and the net gain is as good as any team in the world, if we had the scouting Network of Villa or Newcastle then we could panic. For those worrying name better owners in the league, name better scouting and recruitments teams or better sports science and looking after the players well being set ups, we really have a hell of a lot going for us and we are top of the league.
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Hopefully get this one over the line soon Well, there's only roughly two days left - that's for sure!
J.Lisemore Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Hopefully we don't Actually leave it until the last minute, Arshavin-Arsenal style.

As good a post as i have seen for a long time. Totally agree.
