Mark Nobel and Danny are too similar , it's one or other

Danny has 14 games now to get on that plane !

He can do it !

Sing it up for Danny lads !

Him and Alli have been the best English midfielders in the PL this season. Barkley been ok but is an AM and inconsistent. In terms of a Central Midfielder rather than AM Drinky is the best fit one currently

Imagine the pace in that attack. This team would work well playing the bigger teams when we can counter attack. Maybe Kane up top when we are playing with possession

Would love to see it, and I think it's deserved, but it won't happen.

We'll see the same old shite get picked, because they play for bigger clubs - the likes of Lallana for example who offers absolutely nothing.

thats not fair.. Lallana can do lots of step overs.

lol That's all he does. I don't rate him at all. He'll get picked though.

Only trouble is we've got Roy Hodgson as manager and I don't think the word 'attack' is in his vocabulary.

Like always he'll play one up front, we'll be defensive and play a lot of sideways stuff.

He should get in if he carries on playing well, you saw with Southampton when they got one in it was alot easiier to get more.

Drinky works very well with Vards at times, he made Milner look foolish more than twice last night.

The problem is inexperience, Roy would never go for such an inexperienced line up in such a big tournament.

I could see that being the line up for the first friendly after the tournament, but at the moment all focus is on getting the most out of the established players, not giving other players a chance this close to the tournament.

In terms of winning an England place, It's unfortunate for him that this kind of form and the team's overall performances have come in a season where there aren't many international games of consequence. That being said, Alli looks a shoe-in despite not playing a role in the qualifiers so stranger things have happened

I don't see Danny making because he lacks experience around the England squad. Barkley, for example, will know Roy and the coaching staff by now, will (you would think) understand his methods, and is actually in good form himself.

If Danny has any sort of chance, I'd think it would be to replace a crock like Wilshere or an aging player like Carrick.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I do think Drinkwater is good enough for England.

England should play how we play. Counter and high press.

England aren't good enough to pass teams off the park like they try to do. They aren't good enough for bombing full backs and not expect other teams to exploit that.

Woys game plan is horrid.

How is Stones getting in to these England 11s? He's been awful since about November.

Also it's bloody inconvenient that Rooney seems to be rediscovering form. A few weeks ago I actually thought it was possible he might get dropped and we could start with Vardy and Kane. No chance now.
