Is anyone else suddenly a lot more popular!?

Ever since we started playing well, the number of people coming up to me at work and wanting to have a chat has suddenly skyrocketed - everyone seems to want to tell me how good the team is, ask what I thought of certain goals, seek my opinion on how Leicester might play against their team...I get messages on social media from people I hardly know, people trying to contact me over Steam's messaging service - don't get me wrong, people do normally talk to me but this is bizarre!!

I'm getting credit from my Bournemouth mate. He's a top man, very knowledgable. But, even going into the usual working week it makes it so much easier knowing the club you've supported for years is top of English football.

No one used to care about Leicester up until two years ago over here in Switzerland.

People were following the Premier League because of the two Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool.

I wouldn't call it "being more popular" at present, but the people I know tend to be a bit more respectful now compared to when we were in the Championship or before the Great Escape began.

It's just great that people know who we are.

I was recently asked a security question along the lines "what is your favourite sports team?" When I replied the lady asking the question had no hesitation and what appeared to be a quiet chuckle rather than incredulity experienced in the past.

Yeah. Loads of people I barely know have been messaging me.

I've had a few ex-Man U/ex-Liverpool fans asking me for tickets for 'our' next game. Hahahahaha - **** off - Hahahahaha.

Since the ref blew the first Al whistle I must have had 10-15 texts of well wishers

Exactly this, it's bonkers. Since full time I've had texts and FB messages from mates who support Notts County, FOREST, Leeds, Liverpool, Blackburn, Ipswich, Luton and QPR all wishing us well and hoping we go on to win the league. It feels like we've got the good will of the whole country behind us right now. It's nuts...

Also if you go anywhere wearing anything Leicester related! Was wearing just the small promotion pin badge on my coat the other day and so many people spoke to me, including complete strangers! Everyone loves LCFC!

I am a lifelong Arsenal fan (over 40 years).

I want Leicester to beat us next week and win the league 100%

Everyone I know wants Leicester to do it.

Good luck, I think you will...

In my office we have a Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton and Liverpool fan.. It's going to be fun on Monday :) they were laughing last season.

I work near to crystal Palace, and one of the guys I work with is an arsenal fan. He says we're giving him 'beef' now, hanging around too long, and that what used to fun is becoming annoying! I think outside of the traditional top 4 we're most people's favourites.

Very popular as I travel round England for my job. Those who know me applaud my bragging rights, but those who don't think I'm a plastic.

I'm trying to be humble but just so damn hard.

I think the trick is to never slag off another team because oh my word I've bin there and worse.
