Walcott would be an ideal fit for the way we play. He looks average for arsenal because for whatever reason they continue to play him wide. Get him up top with vardy, alternating off each other and I reckon they would be lethal. Every time Walcott plays up top for arsenal, he scores goals

Didn't he sing "locked up"

I think he did get locked up for either tax evasion or getting involved with fourteen year olds at one of his shows

Besides his music was crap really, just look how easy it is to replicate in quality

Benteke kept Villa up literally by himself for 3 years, scored goals consistently and scored a shitload of belters as well. He's a very, very good striker who's not having the best time of it at the moment.

and those saying "if you take Walcott's pace he's shit". I know Vards has improved in so many areas this season, but what would happen if you took his pace from him? He'd be half the player. It's a stupid argument.

It's not a stupid comment. Vardy uses his pace to score goals, we are still to find out what benefit Walcott's pace is, but it ain't to score goals, that's obvious.

Walcott would be an exceptional signing for us! If he was available for 15-20 million  potentially could be our best ever signing.

Walcott and Benteke are both a busted flush.

Reports suggest both are on £140k a week. It's not our policy to buy big named failures from big clubs and risk them continuing to under perform whilst being the highest paid player at the club.

I vaguely recollect an article on Fernando Torres saying he loves Kasabian and would join us if we were in the champions league lol

Of course it was all tongue in cheek and his stock has certainly lowered since his time at Liverpool but isn't he a free agent in the summer?

its time to get NGolo signed to a long term "water-tight" contract before he establishes himself in the French national team and hence becomes even wider known, im sure we couldmatch Payets West Ham contract, but alas not silly ManCity salaries

NO thanks - INJURY PRONED

No more Africans. ACON is already hitting us hard with Mahrez :(

A month in 2 years, you have plenty of time to take advantage of their qualities.

Maybe just don't let it exceed 25% of the starting 11.

The problem is that two of our wingers leave. Schlupp and Mahrez. If it was a player each in different positions, then that'd be fine.

But during that time we will have to play Albrighton on the right, obviously, and then Gray on the left? With no wingers on the bench? Well, we'll probably get another winger in when Dyer leaves, but our wide options are going to be few... Or Ranieri can tinker with the formation.

Even if we sign another winger who will go to AFCON (Musa), we will still have 3 options on the wing.

Albrighton, Gray & Kante can fill in there too. And Dodoo will probably play in the FA Cup games during January.

Mario Gotze unsettled at Munich, Liverpool sniffing about. Surely he would want champions league football? Could do worse than us.

Funny how these sort of players are suddenly realistic signings.

but on Gotze.

A. Only 23 so would cost A LOT

B. Currently on £110,000 a week

Lukaku  wants to play in Champions League next season! Him and Vardy up front!!! Obs looking for a move to Arsenal though!

Lukaku would be a super signing, however with the other clubs probably wanting his services too, I don't think he would come here at Leicester.

However, I'd very much like to see us sign Benteke, if Liverpool are willing to sell (not sure on this situation?). But, as long as the conditions are right - wages, intent to come etc then I reckon he could really score some goals here. The creativity of our chances through Albrighton's crosses, Mahrez skills, Drinkwater's through balls etc, this is an exciting prospect possibly.

Is he fit and motivated and a team runner?

I was just about to put Lukaku after reading SSN.

wouks love to see him down here! Big, powerful, fast and determined - would definitely suit the type of player we are looking down here. He would definitely provide us a different option up front.

He can go through some dry spells though but I'm sure playing in a counter attacking team with a good strike partner we could see the best out of him.

Not sure if he would come here, I know he wants champions league football but may be looking for a more consistent champions league club? The transfer fee Everton would demand would be extortionate too but would definitely show a sign of intent by the club.

Certainly one to put on the wish list lol

Depends what you define as being motivated but suggesting he wants to challenge himself at an elite level shows a level of motivation. To say he sees Ronaldo as a role model who is known for his professionalism of the pitch too could also suggest this?

He has also played as a lone striker all season too and has always seemed to put in a good shift/ contributed with goals.

Lukaku is very good ... but I think Cavani is better due to his style of play that suit us more, and I read that he wants to leave psg.
