I'd nominate Ajax Amsterdam's Danish forward Viktor Fischer and Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund. Kagawa is apparently considering his options - and imagine having two Shinjis on the pitch at the same time. :D

Plus Ron Vlaar and Gregory van der Wiel.

One can dream.

Going to put myself on the line.

Rather we attempt to try to win the FA Cup/League Cup, as the CL is unknown for us.

Though obviously be great to experience against top foreign teams instead of getting them in friendlies.

I don't like talking about things like this, it gets me all jittery.  But if we do qualify for the champions league and we do strengthen, then a push for a domestic cup would be easier for us, on paper.

The squad will be deeper, more experienced and have more quality.  We'd be able to put out stronger sides in each competition.

Anyway, that's the last I'll say on matters such as these, I'm crawling back under my rock to watch the rest of the season with my hands over my eyes

If i was choosing .....

centre back(another leader)

Winger (another wide man to cause havoc like mahrez)

Full Back (Right)

Centre mid/number 10 (To provide attacking centre mid option or the role just before the striker) (Barkley type)

Striker (we look abit lost when vardy goes off the pitch so we need someone similar of the highest quality with pace)

I hear John Terry might be looking for a new club in the summer. I'd welcome a player of his stature and experience.

Would it be too far fetched to think that not only he would consider joining us and that he would have a positive impact on the team? Assuming he keeps his distance from the other WAGs, of course...

I thought Terry said he wouldn't join another PL team after Chelsea? He'll be off to the MLS or China I'd have thought.

Even if he was available, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Great player but I can't stand the bloke. Reckon he'd be poison in the dressing room. No thanks...

yeah i guess logically he would be the wrong choice. but we do definitely need a vastly experienced CB

We have 2 or 3 of them already ok not with champs league experience but its just football and they all have international experience. We need a few younger players.

I'd get cover at left back, possibly another centre half too. And a new back up keeper as I don't think Iversen will be on the bench next season much.

How many of the current First XI would be good enough to start against the likes of Bayern, Barcelona, Juventus...?

i'm actually struggling to pick anyone beyond Kante at the moment

For Fuch sake..

What makes you think that?

With talk of West Ham being interested in the ox I'd stick a bid in for him, even with us having the advantage of champions league footy ( praying we get that) I still feel he'd probably choose West Ham as there'd be no need to move but he's the kind of player I'd be after

He could be the new Matt Upson, Who himself was the new Lee Morris.

There will be a Ward opened in his honour at the Royal

good point - yes Real Madrid would be in pot 2 so we would have a one in 8 chance of drawing them. all the other BIG sides will be in pot 1 as they will win their leagues.

Also worth pointing out that should we be in pot four, this also means we could end up in a group with both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Knowing us, that's bound to happen.

I'm absolutely positive we will draw Atletico again.

So it could be:

Leicester

Real Madrid

Inter Milan

Wolfsburg

Or

Leicester

Bayer Leverkusen

Olympiacos

Astana

(Based on this seasons pots)

The chances of me talking myself out of trying to go to this are nil. For all the buzz around playing the giants I'd fancy someone seriously obscure like them as well, though that's only happening with a league win.

RB, LW, FW for starting 11

(fabinho/aurier) , (brahimi) , (Griezmann)

GK, versatile defender , RW

Usually i'm really pumped for the summer to see who comes through the doors for some reason though i just don't want this season to end, maybe it's we're doing so well and don't want to stop this incredible season the other is that I am frightened that our stars will be plucked away by the bigger clubs, on the actual strengthening though if we can add 3-4 top quality player's and keep our core together we will have a hell of a team next season.

Granted we might lose to the likes of Barca, Real, Juventus, Bayern..........

but why would we get humiliated?

by that logic the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Man City (likely qualifiers for next seasons CL) would all get humiliated too as we have proven to be better/just as good as those teams this season.

when you talk about style of play yep, perhaps we arent good at playing any other way than counter attack but we have lost once this season where the opposition changed their approach to specifically nulify our style.........and it was only 1-0!

I think its disrespectful to our usual starting eleven to suggest they'd get humilated in the CL.

i  agree we have beaten Spurs and Man  C  unbeaten in 4 league matches  against them so  why should we  do worse than them

Posted

Celtic beat Barca with 16% possession by having good structure, decent DM's and fast strikers......We would give them a good game maybe not beating them but we wouldn't get 'humiliated'

Would love to see Kagawa here. Interesting to see the way he's fallen out of the rotation at Dortmund after having such a great first half of the season. Would we be willing to pay whatever their asking price for him is though? I'm not so sure. I'd sure love to see him creating opportunities for Vardy though.

We've got more then adequate cover at left back, his name is Ben Chilwell. I'd actually like to see him slowly integrated into the first team as Fuchs' replacement in the next couple of seasons.

Schmeichel

Arias

Morgan

Dragovic

Fuchs

Mahrez

Kante

Drinkwater

Carillo

Musa

Vardy
