One of me mates knows a pornstar and we went to her house party. Legit. Can't remember much of it. I jumped over the wall in her backyard, didn't realise how far down it was, and nearly broke me leg.

How is *that* your go-to anecdote about a party you attended at a porn star's house?!

Isn't there another anecdote about parties he's brought up a few times as well? I can't remember though

Yeah, there was plenty of good music - music which I like and music which influenced the Beatles - but not in this Country. The BBC wouldn't dare play Chuck Berry. Why do you think people like John Lennon and Paul McCartney had Rock 'n Roll sent over from America on ships?

As for "I hate it when people make out the Beatles changed everything".. Let me think, and off the top of my head, here goes:

The Beatles were the first British group to crack the States, opening the door to the 'British invasion'.

They hated 'Beatlemania' and their rise through touring made them the first band to ever play in a stadium. Soon after they ****ed off touring in and became a studio band - some of their top work including 'Tomorrow Never Knows' and 'Eleanor Rigby' was written and released during this time. They made it acceptable to be a studio band.

Released the first concept album with Sgt Peppers (bands such as the Kinks, the Small Faces, the Rolling Stones and the Beach Boys all did the same soon after).

And talking of Sgt Peppers, it was the first album ever to feature the songs lyrics. Nowadays, every album includes the song lyrics in a booklet.

They invented the Double A-side with 'Day Tripper/We Can Work It Out' (and months after other bands started rolling out double A-sides, particularly the Rolling Stones).

They were the first band to record guitar feedback with 'I Feel Fine' - Hendrix, the Who, the Jam, Oasis later did the same.

Lennon sang backwards on 'Rain' which was the first time it ever happened.

Harrison played guitar backwards during the 'Revolver' sessions - again, the first time it ever happened.

Harrison also played sitar on 'Norwegian Wood' which introduced Indian influence which the Byrds and the Rolling Stones later used.

'Ticket To Ride' was a milestone for music as it was so heavy critics called it a starting point of heavy metal.

Hey Jude at more than 7 minutes long became the longest single to top the charts. Imagine a World where 'Layla' or 'American Pie' didn't exist!

Lennon was so unhappy with the way the bass guitar sounded, an engineer had a new way of recording the instrument which was first used on 'Paperback Writer'.

'A Day In The Life' - which for some is the greatest song ever - was received as a "new type of song" - more complex than 'pop' and seen as unique.

The BBC asked them to write a song for the first satellite broadcast ever - thus 'All You Need Is Love' was performed live in '68 to 26 Countries worldwide.

In their nine year recording history, they never stagnated. Each album is different. Within four years they went from 'Love Me Do' to 'Tomorrow Never Knows'. Practically everyone on the planet is familiar with a Beatles song. They wrote some of the best songs ever. 'Revolver' is considered the greatest album of all time. Their influence is huge, Lennon and McCartney are the greatest partnership in musical history and they even wrote the Rolling Stones first single.

You might not like the Beatles, I can accept that, but they are not overrated. No way. If you really 'hate that people make out the Beatles changed everything' I question whether you have listened closely to their discography or even listened to one of the their albums in full.

Massively overated, I am the walrus, yellow submarine, absolute shambles pal.

A few have mentioned friends but I can honestly say I haven't watched one episode I saw half once and thought it was shite. However I like Derek and Friday night dinner that people hated so who am I to judge.

Derek's good, Friday Night Dinner is one of the funniest shows in years. Hope they make another series

Used to like Friends but can easily see why people don't rate it

One show I'd definitely say is overrated is the Walking Dead. I appreciate the special effects and makeup are well done but the structure of the series is too predictable

I think it's probably the best sitcom around at the moment. There is a new series coming out soon apparently!
