Wymsey Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 The Simpsons is not over-rated really. They should've introduced new episodes/series a few years back. The programme is not flowing anymore and is rely on quite crap episodes to get more revenue in.

Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly glad I went and it was certainly the right choice for me, but right throughout college it was always made out like getting to Uni was the ultimate goal and guaranteed success (as well as being the only way to be successful) - far from it. Oxbridge can also be added to the list - very impressive to get in but really not that special. Freshers/student nights out, too, but I'm basically an old man in a 22 year old's body so that might just be me... They're good fun every now and then but I know loads of people in final year who are still going out 3+ times a week to the same 3 bars. Surely it's not THAT good...

That said, this whole overrating thing is a bit flawed isn't it, because if someone gets something out of something that you don't, then they might genuinely think it's brilliant and you can't really tell them that they don't, if you see what I mean.
