VLC86 Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Mahrez equaliser v Blackpool! What a great goal when it looked like being one of those games! That was quite wild especially as things had started to go a bit quiet, release of tension Cracking goal but really? Of all the goals in recent memory I wouldn't rank this that high.
harryclark97 Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 I haven't really been much over the last few years but Howard vs Leeds is the big one that stands out for me
Harry96 Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Really can't believe no ones mentioned schlupp vs Liverpool last season too
Dan Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Can't believe I forgot Schmeichel vs Yeovil and Dyer vs Villa. Also, Wood vs Everton at the start of last season. I don't agree with that. That should have been one but it was just an awkward cheer because no-one really knew what was going on King's against Blackpool will take some beating. Always good celebrations when you score in quick succession. Forest away I lost my phone as I ended up with about 10 bodies on me 3 rows down from where I was sitting. I've always maintained that tv replays don't do our end justice. It's because the majority of the older lot are towards the front. Absolutely sure of it. I've been in some absolutely mental ones and I watch ours on TV compared to say... Everton, and think... how the hell did ours look that tame?
Max Power Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Vardy's against United this season was certainly the longest celebration. It felt like everyone was jumping around for five minutes. Always have a soft spot for Burnley away last season becuase I was p1ssed out my mind and right next to the Burnley fans. Went absolutely mad.
Dan Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Wood v Burnley as well. An absolute rocket and one that we all knew meant we were going up.
Jimbo Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 This! Time actually slowed down for me watching the ball float into the net in slow mo, like those crap American movies. I swear the net rippled 3 times and took several seconds before my lungs caught up. Watching the replay it was a split second. Everyone who was there says pretty much the same thing. I remember it so well. I was on the 2nd row right on the goal and I remember seeing the look on Martyns face when he realised it was going in. From the moment the ball left Claridges shin everything seemed to slow down. It seemed to take forever for the crowd to realise what had happened. It really was like there was a moment in time when everything stood still, it went silent! When you watch it back on tv or youtube it's a split second, but for those of us that were there you know in that split second we were all transported to a parallel universe where time passed slower and we spent a minute or 2 there. The most amazing I've ever felt at a football match. In more recent years the Howard goal against Leeds was good. 2 reasons, I was old enough to drink (I was 15 at the palace playoff final) so alcohol helped and before the game I was talking to my mate and we were discussing the best ways of winning that match. I said it'd be great for a last minute Howard bullet header. As we got the corner I put my hand on his shoulder and said to him "this is it, this is the header we've been waiting for!" Plus it was the 1st time I'd really felt the stand moving during the celebrations
Keyworth63 Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Arthur Chandler 1928, his 6th goal vs Portsmouth!
Donut Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Steve Thompson to make it 3-3 in play off final against Swindon- mental! The loudest Leicester City goal ever.
TheSomersetFox Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 every vardy goal from Palace onwards in his streak felt extra special aswell. That goal at WBA is probably my favourite of the season, believe it was his 8th in the streak and it was a bloody brilliant goal. love a goal on the counter like that
BrummieFOX Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Has to be Knocky in the 2-3 at Forest for me. Insane. Then we all stayed in the ground for what felt like hours after the game. For a bit of a left field one. Arnar Gunnlaugsson away at Villa in the FA Cup. In off the bar to put us 2-1 up last minute(ish).

Hilarious stuff by Akinbiyi to fluff a one on one, scuff it into the empty net on the follow-up and landing flat on his back after a sommersault! Also David James stumbling into the stands and carrying Impey away from a brawl as if he was carrying a chimp!
J.Lisemore Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Howard v Leeds. Can remember I personally was going through a tough time, but the feeling when we scored that was just pure happiness and relief that we were almost guarenteed promotion. Dyer v Hereford. 1-4 I think it was, the madness when Lloyd swung his shirt around like Giggs . Gradel was on fire that day.
RonnieTodger Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Both Cambiasso's and Vardy's goals against United were pretty special last season and Vardy's again this. It's great at the minute, every goal feels like a last minute winner. Also celebrations after Vardy's equaliser at Southampton away are underrated.

Have always struggled to find that Arnar goal.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Probably the best one I've been in (after Howard vs Leeds) was Yuki Abe vs Ipswich with his first goal for us. Ended up a few rows forward in a pile-on. Wasn't that an end of season dead rubber? Bit of a weird time to dive over rows
stripeyfox Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Savage diving into the kop after scoring against West Ham at Filbert Street. Non Leicester - Timuri Ketsbia for Newcastle when he kicked the shit out of the advertisement hoardings. Lovely!
shen Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Haha! Yes, I remember that. Wasn't Mancini playing for us then too? Got a link? Have always struggled to find that Arnar goal. I just typed "Arnar Gunnlaugsson Villa" in Google video search and it was the second result on the first page
Fox92 Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Wasn't that an end of season dead rubber? Bit of a weird time to dive over rows Yeah it was last game of the season.
The Doctor Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Wasn't that an end of season dead rubber? Bit of a weird time to dive over rows It was, but it was yuki who scored so...
walkerleeds Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Nils Eric Johanssen at Preston about 8 years ago to pretty much secure safety (that year ).
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 It was, but it was yuki who scored so... ...we're on the pitch?
LCCFox96 Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Mahrez at City - 0-2 Okazaki at Everton - 2-3 Wood at Burnley - 0-2 Howard vs Leeds - 1-0 Cambiasso vs United - 3-3 Vardy at Stoke - 2-2 Vardy at WBA (2015) 2-3
