ramboacdc Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 quick look at my calender says we are now past the 6 week grace period the premier league say they aim for. announcement this week?
boots60 Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Didn't seem to matter for the Arsenal game, dont suppose it will for this one. Will still be on Saturday hopefully, probably lunchtime or evening KO.
filbertway Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Man City v Arsenal Southampton v Spurs Leicester v Everton Norwich v Man Utd I imagine these will the the 4 games on over that weekend. Could see Sat 12:30 - Man City v Arsenal Sat 17:30 - Norwich v Man Utd Sun 1:30 - Southampton v Spurs Sun 16:00 - Leicester v Everton
Staffs Fox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I think this will get moved to the Sunday 4pm, However I also don't think we'll know until next week As things stand we're in the driving seat and Sky won't want to risk us winning it on the Saturday to ruin their Super Sunday, There's so much that can change but they will have to go on how things stand now
stevelcfc Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 As has been mentioned in the other thread, it will be 5:30 Saturday.
GaelicFox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I heard from a copper mate it's Saturday evening at 5.30 But he is a copper so not to be trusted
Ricey Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 As has been mentioned in the other thread, it will be 5:30 Saturday. Shame, Spurs at 1.30pm and us at 4pm on the Sunday would have been perfect IF we happen to win it that day. Either Spurs drop points and it's party time for the Everton match or we need to get something to do it ourselves. If we are 5.30 on Saturday and Spurs are playing on the Sunday, it could be decided on a day we don't play. Not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything...
ousefox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 If we win the league again without playing I'll be so pissed off and happy at the same time
Black country fox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 On a personal note I hope it gets moved to the Sunday otherwise I could face a dilemma of missing my best friends wedding on the Saturday or the possible chance of Leicester lifting the Premier League trophy for the first time.
Staffs Fox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 If we win the league again without playing I'll be so pissed off and happy at the same time Just as long as Leicester win the league, they can be not playing whilst my house gets burgled and my P45 gets posted and I'd still be the happiest bloke in the world
AyewJoking Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I heard from a copper mate it's Saturday evening at 5.30 But he is a copper so not to be trusted and youre his mate so why should we trust you?
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I've booked Saturday and Sunday off just in case. Not missing this. I imagine it will be the last kick off of the weekend to give the greatest chance of being able to present the trophy at home on sky
GaelicFox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 and youre his mate so why should we trust you? I say mate I'm unlucky enough to be married to his sister-in-law 100% no need to trust me on it I'm just passing on what a copper told me Have no idea why they would know anything they are too interested in giving points for using a mobile phone
Mythyaar Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I'm not trying to tempt fate(!!) but it's possible that if we beat Everton, we'd win the title, and there is more chance of that being achieved if the other games have taken place so I'd have thought from a marketing perspective, SKY would want to make our game the last of the weekend. Can't see the Sat evening scenario happening even though it seems to be the one that is currently pencilled in.

artursteppe Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Don't BT get a Saturday lunchtime slot for live games?
artursteppe Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Don't BT get a Saturday lunchtime slot for live games? Sky have got us four times in April. Do Sky take precedence over BT, if not BT could well want the Everton game for 12.45 kick off on the Saturday. If Sky rule, I am pretty sure they will want us for 4.00pm Sunday.

Last month Sky announced theirs first so maybe they choose what they want for all slots and then BT have to choose from the scraps that are left?
Staffs Fox Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 I have never needed to know the date of a game of much as this, I have either my best mates 30th or my Uni mates Stag Do in Berlin that weekend, If the game is still on the Saturday I'll go to my mates 30th in Brum (however if it's the 5.30 KO I'll probably be really late and really drunk when I show up). If the game is on the Sunday I'll try and go to Berlin and get an early flight home on the Sunday. However I can't let either know, book any flights or time off work until this is announced

Yes Sky do, for that weekend they have the first 3 picks BT get the 4th and Sky have the 5th pick if they choose to have it
LCFC FOX Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 5:30 pm on the Saturday! We can party all night long up town afterwards
promised land Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Yes Sky do, for that weekend they have the first 3 picks BT get the 4th and Sky have the 5th pick if they choose to have itDoes anyone know how many fixtures for tv are left for the last two match weekends? If they did another triple header like the Arsenal away weekend, wouldn't that mean a Monday night game wouldn't been shown as they can only show X amount of games a season. Last day there will be two at least shown live. So this game weekend, have they got early, late Saturday slots and early, late Sunday slots. ie, 4 live games or is there more left?
