m4DD0gg Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Ruins my plans for the Saturday evening but I spose partying with the rest of the fans as Champions will be even better!! You fecking what mate????! The possibility of the first time our club has won a league and its messing with your plans?! I suggest if you do have a ticket arrangement for this match you give it to someone who wants to go.
Sublime_Coatsworth Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Ruins my plans for the Saturday evening but I spose partying with the rest of the fans as Champions will be even better!! At the end of the day it's only a football match, you could record it and watch it later. I'll have your ticket if you're not using it.
ramboacdc Posted 5 April 2016 Author Posted 5 April 2016 they've planned it so we may win the title without kicking a ball. sky sports are banking on us faltering and it going to the final day. thankfully ive booked the day after the chelsea game off since i stand no chance of getting tickets for it (and have my daughter)
Nalis Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 BT sport don't like us much do they. Have they only shown us 4 times in two seasons? 2014/15.... Liverpool & Newcastle 2015/16.... Manchester city home & away They only get 4th choice games we are either one of the top choice or one of the worst (middle of last season / starr of this one / when we were underestimated after Xmas) over the last 2 years.
Staffs Fox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 I genuinely couldn't care less if we win the league without playing, could you just imagine- if we beat United at OT and then Spurs lose at Stamford Bridge on the Monday night to give us the title- what the atmosphere around town will be leading up to this Everton 5.30 KO?? The greatest party you've ever been to, watching footie all day in the Sunshine, beers flowing, knowing in a few hours you'll see Big Wes lift City's first top division title!! Then the party continues all night! I think I need to lie down

This is going to be the norm for football fans nowadays, you don't win titles by playing, you win them by having them announced to you.
Staffs Fox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 I do. It's a horrible way to win it. So if Leicester City win the league whilst not playing you'll be disappointed?? I could be sharing a cell with Piers Morgan and Katie Hopkins in a Ukrainian Jail and it'd still be the best day ever

I could be sharing a cell with Piers Morgan and Katie Hopkins in a Ukrainian Jail and it'd still be the best day ever He's not saying that though is he. We'd all be ecstatic beyond words however it came about but you've got to admit not having the elation of hearing that final whistle to secure it, in the company of everyone else in the stadium, would detract from it just a little bit.

bart Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Don't care if we win it playing or not, but playing our game last this weekend would have been so much better. More likely to be presented with the trophy and more importantly we could know what result we need.
Wrighty22 Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 You fecking what mate????! The possibility of the first time our club has won a league and its messing with your plans?! I suggest if you do have a ticket arrangement for this match you give it to someone who wants to go. Just said it ruined the plans I had, didn't say it it bothered me or that I wouldn't be going. So many ****wits on here that easily jump at what someone says. Get a life. I'll be going to the game regardless of the plans I had and cheering the team on just as much as anyone else.
glar84 Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Winning it without playing by Spurs losing at Chelsea would mean that there'll be the big party against Everton at home. Winning it without playing by Spurs dropping points to Southampton would obviously mean any potential trophy presentation will be away from home, which could have been avoided by putting the Spurs game at 5.30 on Saturday and our Everton game on Sunday. Bit annoying. Whatever though. Who cares. So long as we win the league there's no room for moaning. I know I'll be watching the Spurs games and having our own party whenever it *hopefully* comes

He is saying that - if he's not trying to then he needs to change the words he's using. If I had the choice I'd prefer us to win it at home against Everton (or Swansea ) but claiming watching Spurs lose would be a 'horrible way to win it' is ludicrous and pathetic. I don't think people are grasping how massive a moment this would be; the elation wouldn't just be immediate, it would last for weeks (at least). It wouldn't matter how we did it. I think some are getting a bit ungrateful if they can't be happy for it to be won whatever way it comes.
whetstonefox Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 In a perfect world we win it against Swansea, get a guard of honour at old Trafford and have a big party against Everton. Too perfect to be true but I can dream!
crisp packet Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 Could really a fcuk how it happens?!? Just want to win it soooooooo bad.!!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 If we do win the title at our place it would be absolutely amazing. The stadium could see 2 champions titles within 2 years.
fuchsntf Posted 5 April 2016 Posted 5 April 2016 There isnt 1 reason why we shouldnt... There isnt 1 reason why we should... BUT... W.Ham/ Manutd,....Palace/Stoke......then.. WBA/WBA/WBA at different dates., Could help us , if we with 3 wins in the next 3 games, to give our city the title. So Everton home game for celebrations.. Wouldnt it fk the pundits, if the last dangerous, shaky 3 games were totally irrelevant.
