Everything is conspiring against us, and we have all the ability to not just shut them up, but humiliate them. We've got the opportunity to make a huge statement back to Spurs on Sunday. We need to be at it and dreaming. C'mon lads, it's time to fight, let's make history!
Will Loz Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Sorry to join a be a Debbie downer but I cant see Spurs losing a single match and I can see the pressure getting to us in the next 2 matches. Its the small teams that are the worry. I think we will lose against Swansea and then draw Everton. The dream was good while it lasted. I have accepted 2nd or 3rd place. Best people do the same so they dont get depressed when it happens. At least we are going to Europe yes small consolation but many would have given their right nut if they were told at the start of the season we would end up 2nd. Oh well we did try roll on 2017 and lets see if we can fight again for Europe.

We're all nervous because this is massive for us. But as a result of yesterday? We drew a game ffs. Did people really think we'd not drop another point?

The boys will deliver. Think about the back end of last season. Teams on the beach rarely get results.

Yes we'll still be top but the momentum will be with Spurs and that team will grab the opportunity and go on to win the title. ...I'm just praying we can beat Swansea without Vardy in the side.

Kitchandro Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I just can't see where the goals are coming from without Vardy and with Mahrez walking round like he's on drugs. People forget just how vital Vardy is to the way we play. To lose him for 2 games or more at this stage is extremely significant. With Spurs likely to win all 4 remaining matches it's worrying. Had we beaten West Ham I'd have thought it was all over. But the ref and the FA have given them that bit of hope now and all of a sudden the pressure is on us.

ARM1968 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 As I said in another thread. This is in our hands totally. Doesn't matter how great Spurs are. All four remaining games are very much winnable with or without Vardy. Ulloa has done well coming on in the last few games. Nerves of steel yesterday. He won't let us down. Crosses in to the big man, Shinji to pick up the pieces. The last minute draw yesterday was hugely important both in terms of the point and team spirit. As mentioned they will be buzzing about that and furious about what happened to Vardy.

We deserve this a lot more then they do. Not if they finish top, they deserve it if they do... I still think we will do this, 8 points 3 of the teams clearly are on holiday so it is ours to lose
4everfox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 We only deserve it if we finish top. That's what a league is. Call me bitter but if we don't win the league now then the best team over the course of the season won't be the winners of the Premier League.
