Could this be true? Ranieri is a dark art manager with a streak dishonesty?

It's not an overt dig, agreed, but it's shite none the less...and un underhanded compliment.

1. Ranieri has managed some of the biggest names in football. Getting along well with almost all of them.

2. Doesn't mention "the big name" at Chelsea.

3. Somehow he's hoodwinked everyone by wanting the title but saying otherwise. Not so . He just said what the team was focusing on.

4. He claims he can't manage big names. Not answering this one. Laughable. See No.1.

5. Kramaric was sent away because he was a big name (what?)

6. It is an underhanded compliment. He mentions nothing about his tactics, ability to make the players feel confident, getting them to play better as a team and other things that make for a good manager.

Well there is much more, but I'm ignoring the rest. I do think this is a subtle dig. I do still see this as an underhanded pseudo- lcompliment. If a Genius at manipulation is the compliment...then no thanks. Ranieri deserves better by now.

Stan Collymore in talking bollocks shocker

The guy is a Cnut who desperately tries to make himself relevant by going against the grain.

It's the implication that he is being dishonest and playing mind games. He isn't actually a nice jovial man and it is all an act.

He has spent the last 8 months being the most charming intelligent and most importantly successful manager in the league.

I still don’t want to call Leicester title-winners just yet because Tottenham could still pip them.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli are on fire, while Leicester have been nicking wins by one goal, a draw in their last outing and looking as if their opponents have a chance of beating them.

That article was published 6:37pm, so after our match that had literally just finished 4-0.

Made even better by the fact that theres a link to the match report literally 2 lines further down. lol

Collymore shitting his pants that his only real acheivement for the club against Sunderland won't make highlights reels anymore after this year.

"REMEMBER MEEEEE"

Bitter seanut.

It also doesn't take into account the atmosphere at Chelsea, the Abrahmovich take over, the millions spent on players, the in coming new manager.

Before Mourinho he was Chelsea's most successful manager in modern times. He has had huge amounts of success all over the world managing some of the biggest players, for sure he has had some bust ups some "big name players" are cvnts and like any good manager he will prioritise the team over the individual.

The first paragraph or so sounds a little backhanded but generally it's a positive piece about Ranieri.

Some people are going out looking for negative stuff.

Agreed. Unless I've missed a few key paragraphs, this is about the nicest write up any manager could ever ask for.

Basically says he's professionally minded at his work, and an expert at handling the media. Doesn't suffer prima-donnas, and gets the most out of 'ordinary' players. Seems fair enough.

That article doesn't actually say anything at all.

I was just about to write the same thing. I've read it twice and it just seems to be a series of soundbites / cliches run together.

It's Collymore though so I'll let him get away with it.

Not sure about the dishonesty claim... But don't think any sane person truly beleive ranieri is this lovely chirpy, kind of crazy uncle type figure, then no - he certainly isn't that.

If that was the case no one would take him seriously. He does that for a couple of reasons, 1 - to keep the media at bay, keep them happy, throwing a few sardines of the trawler to keep the seagulls at bay. 2 - his English isn't great, so can't express himself as he would in Italian - so he comes across more clowny than he really is.

Regardless, past players and managers all rate him really well. His reputation in the game has always been high wherever he has gone. He has shown the great relationship with the players this season, they love playing for him. Even after today's game I noticed the differant way he celebrated with all the players, huth and Morgan was macho, and with gray and simpson ore lovingly... I thought it was great to see that. The players like drinky and Wes have said how good he is tactically in interviews which is saying a lot.

The collymore article itself is pretty useless.

He is great, good with the media and also the subs, but the article is wrong because he is not even the leader of the team, Morgan is, he has more say than Claudio for sure. Our manager is just for the media and subs/tactics and he is good at that.

I am betting that the "Chelsea Legend" Collyflower was talking to was Dennis Wise. Ranieri clearly recognised that short-arsed runt for the trouble-maker he was and got shot of him - and Ranieri probably still sends thanks Peter Taylor a Christmas present every year as an expression of his gratitude.

I don't think Collymore is trying to have a go at Ranieri, but – as usual – he mixes fact with fiction. The entire point he is trying to make falls at the first hurdle of scrutiny.

Ranieri has worked with plenty of big names in his career. If someone at Chelsea didn't like him, then that's probably a good thing.

Also, when it comes to shipping big names away, rather than trying to keep them happy – has Collymore forgotten about Gökhan Inler? He was seen as direct replacement for Cambiasso and as our new midfield general.

Ranieri hasn't played Inler, yet if the player's social media updates are anything to go by, he loves just being part of this all. It was Ranieri who convinced him not to insist on a loan move in January. That's some feat when you think Inler was the captain of the Swiss team at the 2014 World Cup and is desperate to play at Euro 2016.

So you are saying the hugs with the players, the tears after Sunderland, his nickname for Vardy, the emotional connection he has with everyone at the club is fake?

Could this be true? Ranieri is a dark art manager with a streak if dishonesty?

The six outrageous reasons you won't believe the truth. Number 3 is totally insane. Former footballer destroys manager.
