Collymore Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Don't get me wrong Id love us to beat Utd on Sunday to win it but I feel the most likely scenario is this... We draw or lose on Sunday but Spurs also draw or lose on Monday away at chelsea handing us the title. It will be a slight anti climax but surely this is the most likely way it's going to happen? (If we lose we don't want spurs to draw obviously) We're in such a strong position now its untrue! We can afford to lose on Sunday and still have a really good chance of winning the title on Monday!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Even if we lose on Sunday, a draw would be realistic for Spurs at Chelsea which then means one point against Everton for the title. Would be nice to win it at home.
Collymore Posted 26 April 2016 Author Posted 26 April 2016 Nah. We'll go to Old Trafford and win.I really hope we do. The season deserves it.
Fox92 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I really hope we do. The season deserves it. And you wouldn't go against it would you? We've won at Tottenham, West Ham, Manchester City... The only reason there maybe a doubt is because it's Manchester United and it's Old Trafford.
foxfanazer Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Everton at home is the perfect scenario but I just want it done asap so I don't care
weller54 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Spuds will fold like a cheap suit against Chelsea..
TiffToff88 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 From a selfish point of view, I hope we wait until Everton to clinch the title as I couldn't get a man u ticket. Inwamt to be there when it happens. BUT from a true Leicester fans point of view, if it happens next weekend, either by beating united, of Tottenham slipping up again on Monday, I'll obviously be delighted either way!
surrifox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 From a really selfish POV I would like it confirmed at Chelsea as have got me some corporate stuff at SB on the last day but may not make it until then given the stress levels involved so ASAP is probably best !
gdl9050 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Man United home form is just about as good as ours unfortunately
stripeyfox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Everton at home is the perfect scenario but I just want it done asap so I don't care This. A million times over
Ric Flair Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I think there's a good chance that we will beat Man Utd or Spurs will lose to Chelsea so I can see it being done with 2 games to spare. Ridiculous this is. I'm astonished.
Kitchandro Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 We're much better than Man U; why would it be a surprise if we beat them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ridiculous this is. I'm astonished. I'm not particularly concerned with 'what ifs?' - but it's even more ridiculous when you consider that had Mahrez slotted away those penalties against Bournemouth and Villa we'd be champions now and thirteen points clear.
ARM1968 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Be nice for the current champions to hand over the title on Monday gift wrapped. Just want it done now so the bender can begin.
gdl9050 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Schmeichel (obvious reasons) Schlupp (was known trial at man utd) Simpson (man utd academy) Drinkwater (man utd academy) This is also the type of game Mahrez will be 100% at it for me. He seems to like to impress the big boys. And Okazaki. The Japanese love man utd

ceredigion Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I agree that Monday night is now the likeliest time for us to clinch it. Hope we get at least a draw at Man Utd though. It would be great to finish the season with a 10 match unbeaten run and with only one team (Arsenal) having taken more points from us than we took from them. After Sunday's result I couldn't see Spurs getting to 76 points whatever we did and I firmly predict now that they'll lose to Chelsea, draw with Southampton, lose at Newcastle and will finish 3rd behind Arsenal.
artursteppe Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I'm sort of all right with Chelsea doing it for us. Their fans would be chanting 'Leicester are the Champions' etc etc just to wind Spurs fans up. Chelsea hate Spurs and they would really rub it in. Lots of them still love our Claudio as well. It would be quite surreal to have Chelsea fans chanting 'Leicester' on TV.
Guest MattP Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I have a feeling we get a point at OT and Chelsea finish the job off for us as well.
hairy Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I hope we win on Sunday as I would much prefer to see us win than win it on anothers result
RowlattsFox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Really hope we can win it on our own terms but the most likely scenario is Chelsea beating Spurs. The Everton game would be ideal but I'm not sure I could handle the pressure of needing to win that game. Just want it done.
