lifted*fox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 This young man appears to be a deal of the real kind. Get it done!
AyewJoking Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 11:58 LEICESTER IN FOR MUSA Leicester City have made a bid in the region of £23m for CKSA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, according to the Russian club's manager Leonid Slutskiy. The Premier League champions were interested in the 23-year-old in January, but have now returned with a concrete offer for the Nigeria international. "The British club offered a bit less than €30m (£22.86m)," Slutskiy said. "Musa came to me a few days ago and asked when he [Ranieri] is back for the holidays and I told him I do not know, I do not know Ranieri." From sky sports that sounds like something out of football manager
Babylon Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Just imagining some slow CB's having to face Vardy and Musa. Perhaps with a bit of Schluppy as well....
artursteppe Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Thought his buy out was £23m? It is 30m Euros = about £23m
AyewJoking Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Just imagining some slow CB's having to face Vardy and Musa. Perhaps with a bit of Schluppy as well.... mertesacker's just spit his sausage out
lgfualol Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Just imagining some slow CB's having to face Vardy and Musa. Perhaps with a bit of Schluppy as well.... Looks like we'll be penalty leaders again
foxoffderby Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Just imagining some slow CB's having to face Vardy and Musa. Perhaps with a bit of Schluppy as well.... John O'shea, Johnny Evans, Scott Dann what a mare
Walkerfox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I know everyones raving about this but is he actually worth that much? £23 million seems a lot for someone who's only performed in the Russian league. Also pace doesn't automatically mean good. I'm genuinely asking, I don't really know anything about him other than his fifa rating
Thracian Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Just imagining some slow CB's having to face Vardy and Musa. Perhaps with a bit of Schluppy as well.... Vardy might want to play in goal next season!
m4DD0gg Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 We are going to have a field day against the amount of plodder cb's in the prem. Mwhahaha
Koke Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Reading all the Nigerians opinion on him on Twitter doesn't make for good reading. Many are very scathing of him saying he's so frustrating, drifts in and out of games and basically a poor mans Nani. He did score 18 goals last season for CSKA though.

I've read that too, but he is still only 23.

Reading every Nigerians opinion on twitter must have taken a long time.
dpjfox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 ticks many boxes for us ie national captain, pacy, scores goals, high workrate
Koke Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 https://twitter.com/officialTope/status/735462445796458496 Not what you wanna read when we're splashing out £23m on a player But as the poster above said, he is 23and still young.
foxes21 Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Lots of good players are shocking for their national team tbh, compared to club level.
Koke Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Wow. Reading every Nigerians opinion on twitter must have taken a long time. Yeah that's exactly what I meant, genius.
Ric Flair Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Whenever we've spent what's classed as big money for us it's not been a massive success but at some point that is going to change. I'd be amazed if we were going to smash our transfer record more than treble that the player would be so questionable as Musa appears to be.
Babylon Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Those the same Nigerians who all think Arsenal are the best team ever? He's 23 and as quick as feck, it's quite clear why we're going for him. If Vardy was out we'd miss his pace. When I saw Musa play a full match, he was quick... not just in terms of pace, but how he played. It was one touch and move the ball, or get it and get forward quickly. You could see him fitting into a counter attacking system perfectly. He might be frustrating, but... at the end of the day the Nigerian team at the minute is cack. In a team set up to play to his strengths then he could be very effective.
foxoffderby Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Yeah that's exactly what I meant, genius. I'd rather trust views of a Mr Steve Walsh who has tried to sign this guy 3 times since January rather than a genius who respects the views of a bunch of NOBODYS on twitter.
