MPH Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 https://twitter.com/officialTope/status/735462445796458496 Not what you wanna read when we're splashing out £23m on a player But as the poster above said, he is 23and still young. We dont sign the finished article. Never have and probably never will. we MAKE the finished article.
Koke Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I'd rather trust views of a Mr Steve Walsh who has tried to sign this guy 3 times since January rather than a genius who respects the views of a bunch of NOBODYS on twitter. Mate, they watch him a lot and they have no reason to be anti Musa for no reason since he's one of their own. Steve Walsh is good but he's not God. I'm sure he has potential since he's only 23 but you wouldn't be calling these Nigerians nobodies if they were giving glowing references about Musa and how he's a world beater.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 He is 23 and Walsh believes he has the attributes to mould into a great player, I know who I would rather trust that is for sure

Gerard Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Absolute pace. Teams will be defending so deep they'll be on their goal lines! I haven't seen Musa play so I'll reserve judgement but he is lightening quick. I imagine he'll play with Vardy probably as a left sided forward more often than not and will be an ideal replacement for Vardy if he can't play for whatever reason. Because of the pace we will have in our team teams will defend deep to negate our pace so I'd like to see us buy a player who can pick a pass and get a sackful of assists to play as an attacking midfielder. We'll need to find different solutions to break teams down that play deep against us.

tsintskaro Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Buying a guy for 23mil. just to fill the space when Vardy is not in? W T F yes,he is fast but that's the thing He is JUST fast I am bit pessimistic I preffer Perez from Deportivo,or even Ajax's Milik, besides they are cheaper so I am not sure, will wait to see him in action,if club buys him
Babylon Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Buying a guy for 23mil. just to fill the space when Vardy is not in? Or you could look it at that we're buying the long term replacement for someone who is 29 and very much reliant on pace. As for only having pace, people said the same of Vardy. In the right environment, people can improve... I'd of thought every Leicester fan was aware of that having just won the league with a load of cast offs.

foxes21 Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Think we are fine against Bus parkers. Look how many chances we created vs west brom. We were unlucky to draw, we destroyed them. Uhh who else, Southampton away second half tried to sit back and that was one of the best half's I've seen from us this season. So I have a feeling Musa will be fine against the Bus parkers.
HoustonFox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I'm excited about this signing if it does happen. Seems to have some good footwork and touch too. As for the national team haters, if we went by that and and Twitter, we'd never sign anyone. Certainly good players in club football don't click in national teams and if it is about putting in effort, that's something that he won't be able to avoid if he does sign...
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 quick and frustrating? we have jeff for that Just what I was thinking.

mikey_b Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 if you guys read the Facebook posts about us on sports pages and subsequent comments from Nigerians, you wouldn't pay much attention!
crisp packet Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Can see us reverting to 433 or 4231 just gives us more options? As always if Walsh wants... I do.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Still personally think this chap looks the real deal. Would suit our game excellently, and as pointed out he's only 23, plenty of time to develop here with our good training and coaching staff. Given how well Ranieri has worked with our current players, he could really bring Musa onto the next level, like he has done with the likes of Drinkwater, Morgan, Simpson, Vardy, Mahrez etc etc. Shows we're heading in the right direction as a club - applying to buy players who are of his calibre or similar.
GeorgeTheFox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I always trust Nigerians on the internet. In fact, one of them just emailed me claiming to be my cousin. He's a prince apparently and wanted to share his wealth with me. All i had to do was send him my sort code and account number along with my passwords. Can't wait!
Koke Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 steve walsh is god and your mates are nobodies. Lets agree to disagree and see who is right. If you say so. We just let our club record signing go to Hoffenheim. Forgive me for being interested in other people's opinion on a player.

Gerard Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 If you say so. We just let our club record signing go to Hoffenheim. Forgive me for being interested in other people's opinion on a player. Agreed, as much as Walsh has spectacularly got right he doesn't hit the bullseye every time and nor should he be expected to. I'm a little bit meh over Musa, in one way it would be great to have a player who is Vardy quick and can replace him as No9 when need be so we don't have to change the way we play. He's also versatile and hard working by all accounts so that suits how we play and we want to get him in the team one way or another. On the other hand I'm always a bit worried when fans who have seen a lot of him don't rate him.
Mezeker Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 too much heard mentality, polishing Walsh's dick. The post about our record signing going to Hoffenheim. Spot on.
