Imagine taking the opinion of someone with the moniker Mourinho Kanye, most Africans talk total shit about football anyway, just have a look on Facebook at the comments on an average Sky Sports post.

Trust Walsh, he'll get some wrong but over a long period of time he'll get far more right.

If you browse the rest of their forum it seems they rate Victor mosses ahead of him but they are upset that mosses fakes injuries every time they have a friendly.

They're calling him a headless chicken and are stunned with the price tag. But they also slate their own domestic coaches.

57 caps for Nigeria. But what do Nigerian fans know about football anyway!!

If you say so. We just let our club record signing go to Hoffenheim. Forgive me for being interested in other people's opinion on a player.

He wasn't our club record signing.

You have to trust a man who scouted and built a dossier on a non league striker and then when and told his Thai billionaire boss to buy him because he's that good that he will play for England one day. He's not just thought ohh I fancy trying to get us to sign Ahmed Musa for the fun of it. He and his team will have been very thorough and will know more about the player than any of us. It's 23m quid. The owners aren't going to push that kind of money at a player before they are certain that we will benifit.

Agreed, as much as Walsh has spectacularly got right he doesn't hit the bullseye every time and nor should he be expected to.

I'm a little bit meh over Musa, in one way it would be great to have a player who is Vardy quick and can replace him as No9 when need be so we don't have to change the way we play. He's also versatile and hard working by all accounts so that suits how we play and we want to get him in the team one way or another. On the other hand I'm always a bit worried when fans who have seen a lot of him don't rate him.

They probably watch him 8 times a year, playing for a fairly dire Nigeria. And, we have no idea how or where he was even being deployed.

I'll back the judgement of professionals with a very decent hit rate, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. But worrying about the opinions of a few randoms, most probably not employed as football scouts is pointless... we've seen people praised crash and burn and those slated turn out brilliant.

I find this "Nigerian fans thoughts" quite amusing when we consider that last season some people were willing to offload Mahrez, Vardy and Simpson. What about all the times last season people were saying Hamer was better than Schmeichel. Or even outside of Leicester, when Schalke fans were saying Christian Fuchs couldn't defend.

True, and it would seem Walsh has been watching this guy for a while... he doesn't always get it right for sure, but Musa seems to have the attributes of a player that will excel in our side and the way we play.

Ohhhh oh oh oh Ahmed Musa , He scores with right foot , he scores with a left , he scores a header back of the net (in tune with sex of fire)

Would love to see him here that added pace and strength at top would be lovely

For me it's about how we can play him and in what system. I looked crap playing for Man U but on the break for Cov City......

Vardy is key to our game, we've clearly looked for someone to match his sort of skill set. Sod the cost, if he's the best match up we see out there. I don't say that about every signing, but getting that pace option up there is so crucial.

We mix it up with our signings, some free, some expensive, some young, some with experience. The club have their head screwed on. We've admitted before we don't mind overpaying, as sometimes that's offset when you get in a few quality bargains.
