Ahmed Musa

If his finishing is poor can always be worked on. Vardy was never a clinical finisher but had all the ability's to be a world beater.

Not sure about that, have you watched the goals his scored for Halifax, then fleetwood before moving??

I get the same impression of Musa.

We are building the ultimate FIFA sweat team.

If we sign this lad I fully expect us to play him up top in a front two , just pumping balls over the top for him and Vards to run onto. It's not going to be pretty but with some of the defenders in this league it's going to be bloody effective.  lol

The most exciting thing about this signing is if we put him left wing against the many headless chickens at full back, galloping forward, leaving all that space for Musa :D

good luck Kyle Walker, Clyne, Rose, etc lol

Rose is a left back buddy   lol

I doubt this is happening. For no good reason. So we'll probably sign him at 2.

Can we not play any CL matches during AFCON please?

Who are we missing currently? Mahrez, Amartey, Schlupp? So down two wingers, a central mid, and back ups LB and CB/RB.

can this guy also play upfront ?

Yeah

I think there's no prettier sight in football than fans of clubs who think they're Barcelona blubbering because they can't handle direct football.

I think there is no prettier sight than seeing one of our players 1 on 1 with an opponents goalkeeper  :ranieri:

Exactly, I can't wait for the CL.  Opposition managers will come out with the usual guff about they have studied us and know how we play.  Their players will get cocky when we give them space and time to pass about, in comes Kante/Drinky with a chip over their high pressing CB's for Vardy and Musa, Mahrez twists his way past Ramos and Pepe, Huth can throw in a love tap on Ronaldo for good measure.

Sounds exactly the type of transfer we want, especially now Musa actually wants to join. Ranieri said this himself, it's important to sign and have players at the club who want to be here.

Given he can play as a forward and winger, his versatility would be useful for us.

Scrolling down from the Musa article we should sign Fred Friday too. Great name.

What do we know about this guy's attitude? I haven't read anything about it really.

Cracking attitude, very humble (check his interviews on youtube), good work ethic and was made captain of Nigeria last year (now Mikel). Basically what Steve Walsh wants to a tee

Says on his wiki page that he is known for his 'pace, dribbling, composure, versatility and defensive effort.'

Soon as I saw these assets I was keen, in particular the defensive effort part. Seems he works for his team not only in attacking areas which suits us perfectly. All of the current team work for each other both attacking and defending so would fit in with the squad's work ethic.
