StanSP Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 I think it was just precautionary. Being able to walk off with an injury that looked bad as that is a good sign. Massive loss for Spurs though. Janssen is no kind of replacement and if he is out for long, they won't be finishing 2nd.

Shows what they think of Janssen when playing a team from two division below they brought on Erikson instead of him. You'd think it'd be decent chance for Janssen to get a goal, and some confidence.

That's a shame. Not a great attitude then, unless Poch has said that to him. Otherwise I don't think he should have expected to be getting ahead of Kane or even Son so quickly.

Blessing in disguise perhaps. Spurs are fielding their first team, we didn't. Millwall was 3 days before the Sevilla away game, it was always going to be our reserves regardless. If we had fielded a stronger team vs Millwall, this second leg vs Sevilla could well have been a dead rubber.... It never was realistic to hope for a deep FA cup run, with the FA cup games scheduled very closely to the CL games. Amused me greatly that half the people on here would take a FA cup win over staying up...
