Tuna Posted 11 June 2016 Author Posted 11 June 2016 Why bring five strikers and then go with one up front and not bring any off the bench. He doesn't know what he's doing. He's tactically clueless, his use of substitutes today was awful and our game management poor. Our set pieces were almost all wasted - completely useless. Kane is the striker, he needs to be in the box not wasting set piceces. Kane looks tired physically and mentally, Woy should see this. Sterling runs around a lot and does nothing. Rooney, Dier positives that's about it really. We only had 2 or 3 meaningful chances in the game and one we scored. Russia are one of the worst teams I've seen recently and that includes the qualifiers, yet we couldn't beat them. History repeating itself etc etc. Don't worry though, we won all 10 in qualifying.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Low expectations like this will see the Owl take charge at his 3rd tournament, was this English performance good enough after 2014??? Surprised he wasn't sacked after that... he is funtunste enough to have good young players that for me played well despite Hodgson's rubbish. A better manager would certainly get more out of these players
Tielemans63 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Raheem Sterling is just a bizarre player. How many times does he bomb forward, get in position and then literally stop as he takes a few moments to figure out what decision to make before inevitably doing neither one thing or another. SheppyFox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Roy is an absolute joke, I don't care what anybody says, this was against Russia and Russia are absolute crap.
casablancas Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Don't worry lads ... We could have score 3 well apparently.
Socks Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 anyway the way our arsehole fans are going we will kicked out the tournament anyway
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 The sooner Roy goes the better... at least I see hope with this team for the future as long as Roy doesn't have anything to do with it.. anyway the way our arsehole fans are going we will kicked out the tournament anyway Apparently it was the Russian fans charging at the England fans
Dodgy Bob Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Low expectations like this will see the Owl take charge at his 3rd tournament, was this English performance good enough after 2014??? This is already his 3rd failure. Surely there won't be a 4th. Surely.
foxes21 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I swear Raheem sterling is basically a right footed Jeff schlupp?
Jimothy Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I swear Raheem sterling is basically a right footed Jeff schlupp? Harsh on Schlupp, he makes things happens. End product might be poor at times, but he beats his man.
casablancas Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who takes over for Roy? Do you give Neville a chance? Maybe Coleman?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Lallana sterling... both aren't particularly good, just frustrating that bloody Hodgson didn't bring wingers
foxfanazer Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 The sooner Roy goes the better... at least I see hope with this team for the future as long as Roy doesn't have anything to do with it.. Apparently it was the Russian fans charging at the England fans Roy is just part of the problem though. The F.A will appoint another dull yes man, who in turn will opick the players from the popular clubs regardless of form or game time. Just don't get your hopes up too much
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who takes over for Roy? Do you give Neville a chance? Maybe Coleman? Anything is better than Roy, going for Neville would be typical of the rubbish FA though
Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Just gonna watch Leicester highlights all night till I forget and fall asleep nighty night lads
foxes21 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Harsh on Schlupp, he makes things happens. End product might be poor at times, but he beats his man.True that. Schlupp > sterling
biggs Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Hodgson got it all wrong. Yes we had some chances but I'm suggesting we would have had this game won by halftime had we played to a team strength by playing players in a formation to suit the best team available vs this crap competition. Even Wycombe Wanderers would have had chances against this Russian team
Socks Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Just gonna watch Leicester highlights all night till I forget and fall asleep nighty night lads me too, just watched us lift the trophy again, twice
Jimothy Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who takes over for Roy? Do you give Neville a chance? Maybe Coleman? Right now I'd rather give Simon Cowell the job and let the public vote on lineups and subs.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Just gonna watch Leicester highlights all night till I forget and fall asleep nighty night lads Great idea, England have let me down once again but Leicester fulfilled all my dreams already
foxfanazer Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who takes over for Roy? Do you give Neville a chance? Maybe Coleman?Should've been Mourinho. Don't see a good enough English manager out there. Maybe Howe in a few years but even that isn't exactly exciting
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Should've been Mourinho. Don't see a good enough English manager out there. Maybe Howe in a few years but even that isn't exactly exciting Big Sam would do better than Hodgson that is for sure
Dr The Singh Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Danny Murphy is making a proper tool of himself. Why?
