Woy will be gone when we are home a week on Tuesday but who to replace him? I cannot think of one single English candidate. Anyone saying neville needs to have a word. Already part of hodgsons mess and look at Valencia.

Could genuinely see ranieri doing a job for England but before I get concerned about that I know it would never ever happen.

I'm not suggesting he's as brilliant as the media make out but Howe might be an option. Quite a likeable bloke and polar opposite to Woy.

Should have snapped up Mourinho when we had the chance imo

I used to get asked to choose between Leicester winning the cup (Ha! We're going to have to upgrade that) or England winning the World Cup and I would always go with Leicester.

There's something about Hodgson that just irks me, I felt the same about Hoddle. Robson, Venables, Sven, Capello I was fine with. I don't listen to him being interviewed anymore.

A man who can't put together an effective formation to accommodate the two leading scorers in one of the world's biggest leagues says it all really.

Yeh perhaps howe but I think it maybe a bit too soon. Fa would never go for mourinho way too outspoken. He wouldn't stand for their shit.

Bet Chris Coleman is laughing his ass off.

not feeling a connection, there's another line that we can apply to Leicester and ask what's different. surely NOBODY felt a connection to any of our players from 03-08? sod feeling a connection you barely even knew who was going to turn up every week for those 5 years. we support them regardless cos that's what we do.

you don't have to support england, that's fine do your own thing, just annoys me that people come up with bullshit lines like that when the truth is they just don't really care about England. they would if we were winning though, I bet.

I agree we should get behind the players but the frustrating thing is that it's the very basics that Hodgson is getting wrong. It's like his management is holding back a half decent bunch of players

Knowing the F.A it will probably be Pardew or Curbishley next

We played better then we have for a while. But Not bringing Vardy on against a poor Russian backline was indefensible especially as it would have stretched them in the last 30 minutes.

Concerned that I wasn't really upset when Russia equalised and I think it's because I am bitter that the Champions of England only have 1 representitive in the squad and he's only there because there wouldb have been uproar if he was left out.

Worried Wales and Slovakia look a sterner test.

not "getting behind them" or supporting them isn't really my issue. ill slag the players off if (when) they're crap and I'll sure as anything slag hodgson off when he serves up this load of arse. it's the actively wanting us to lose, the cheering for the opposition and so on. "hope vardy doesn't play any minutes and we lose all 3 games 13-0 that'll show them". yeah that'd be great that. Fu ck off.

there's being pissed off cos were rubbish and there's turning against the nation because you don't like the manager or some of the players. one is just football fans being football fans, one is bitchy little girls being bitchy little girls.

Can't argue with that

Pissed me off that the ITV pundits were banging on about how we 'deserved to win'. No we didn't.

Deserving to win is nothing to do with possession or any other meaningless crap like that - as Leicester proved this season.

Here's the checklist for whether you deserved to win:

Did you score more goals than the opposition? Y/N

Supporting England is how I imagine it'd be to be a glory fan (Albeit why you'd pick England after lacking glory for so many years I don't know but hear me out).

It just doesn't hurt when they lose, i'm frustrated (and that's where the slagging off comes from) but generally I don't care, I just move on, If they win great.

I don't feel 'attached' to the national side, Ok i'm English but I feel no association with the national team, no real passion, I just 'support' (and I use that in the loosest of terms) them because it's some interest in a tournament when it's on.

All those things are what imagine a glory boy feels (Or doesn't to be more that case)

I normally do jump on the bandwagon when a tournaments on, flags out the window, down the pub, chanting in the streets, can't  be bothered to do it this tournament. I'm more proud of sticking my Leicester flag out the window than bother putting the England flag out.

With that prick in charge, well it just gives me more ammunition.

I want England to do well I really do, but they're going no where with that idiot in charge, and probably won't go anywhere after him because the FA will just appoint another yes man.

Thing the last time I actually felt any passion for England was under Sven.

If it's Leicester i'm fuming. I take it to heart.

Ultimately you have to blame the manager. We should have scored more but the best teams see out one nils.

Kane wasn't great and a sub for Vardy to get the ball and keep it up the pitch should have been done. Sterling shouldn't have been on past the hour either.

Problem I have is that it looks like he suddenly now wants to play 433. Sterling and Lallana are only wingers we have unless we stick strikers there. If he had that in mind we should have taken Townsend. Hos decisions baffle me.

Leicester last night would have made subs to kill the game...like Ulloa on for an outlet. Vardy should have been that sort of sub yesterday.

He didn't change way we were playing at all which isn't good enough.

That goal could be difference in us finishing first or second now.

Wales has become a must win when before a draw wouldn't have been terrible

Crazy stat:

Regular-ish Spurs team English players - 7; in the England Squad - 5, in the starting line up - 5.

Regular-ish Leicester team English players - 5; in the Squad - 1, in the starting line up - 0.

Quick reminder: one team won the league 10 points clear of their nearest rivals, one team bottled it with 4 games left and finished third!

And this is why I'm mad! :@

Kane didn't have a single touch in the opposition box, Woy needs to address that, stop shooting from 40 yards out and pass the ball to someone else.

Also he took more corners last night than in all 38 games for Spurs last season.

2 facts from BBC which I found staggering considering.

What I find strange is Woy set us up around 'Tottenham' but we played nothing like them. No closing down, when out of possession we didn't seem to pressure the ball and play a high pressing game. As we have seen with LCFC it's how you work out of possession that wins you games. Until Woy and his coaching staff see this and implement this we won't be winning anything.

There was some decent high pressing in the first half, but then for no apparent reason we stopped it and just went back to sitting in and waiting for them to come onto us. It just seems like there's no cohesion through the team.

What did you think of Leicester when we'd been bottom of the table for 16 weeks? A supporter supports.

It's like Seenitall has taken over this thread.

What a moron you are mate.

Exactly how I feel. I'm young enough to remember 90,96 and like a lot of fans I know my age they are at the point that after 20 years of total bullshit they simply don't care anymore.

Hodgson just hasn't got a clue has he.

Pre match he talks about "we're not playing with speed" (ie defending not picking Vardy) and "we want to keep the ball"... We kick off and first pass is a direct long ball wide. We gave the ball away about 600 times in 50 seconds.

Kane up front alone is pointless. Needs Vardy alongside him. Lallana is not a winger but because of Hodgson's shit squad we lack width. Sterling is a waste of time, he literally offers nothing more than Albrighton would. Dier scores a great goal and then we try and protect a 1-0 lead, wtf. I said this when Hodgson was appointed but he is one of the most defensive managers I've ever seen. Vardy should have come on at this point to stretch the game. Russia were there for the taking.

Thought Wilshere was class as usual when he came on. Shame about his fitness otherwise he'd be starting for me. Alli, like Sterling, did fvck all. Walker was impressive, especially considering he rarely had support as Lallana is not a winger.

You didn't answer the question.

What's the point? You clearly don't understand my frustration with the manager.

Of course I want us to win, not for a second in yesterday's game did I want us to draw or lose.

Exactly and going our effectively first round again will maybe open the fa's eyes to that dinosaur.
