ScouseFox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 This thread is absolutely ridiculous. The deliberate negative bias is incredible. How can anyone possible argue England werent the better team by a million miles in the game, and Russia must be thanking God for their equaliser. think we were pretty good and rarely, if ever threatened by them. switched off at the end after letting them come onto us. mismanagement of a game that should've been won but wasn't. disappointing but anyone who doesn't think there are some positives is a bit of a gimp.
Webbo Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 All this celebrating the opposition goals is odd though. It's retarded.
Jimothy Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Enough chances. Russia's keeper made one of the best saves ive ever seen from Rooney, we had the free kicks around the box, one of which we scored, and we were always in and around the box. In the first half we were cutting them open at will. Being around the box doesn't count as creating chances lol lol
Dr The Singh Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 We had of possession in there half but rarely tested the keeler. Overall we deserved to win, it just mean we will have to beat the Welsh and Finners

How can anyone possible argue England werent the better team by a million miles in the game, and Russia must be thanking God for their equaliser. I think they're mostly thanking Roy Hodgson and Team England for that. Take your rose-tinted glasses off... Oh, wait. You're English.
Tielemans63 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Joe 'take the positives' Hart. He's a positive chap. I like his positivity...To be fair, I got the impression that he was raging but remained diplomatic. As a player you can't really say 'Well Gabriel, I think we lost that one because of some of the managers substitutions were on whole - shit.'Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Why did we only score one goal then if we were that good? The goal we scored was a set piece. Doggo!!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Should have put Vardy on... Surprised it didn't happen, Kane shouldn't take set plays either
foxes21 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 thing is, we couldn't beat a poor.. No not poor. A shocking Russia. Shocking. next up is a pumped up Wales & a gifted Slovakia. It's not looking good.

Donut Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Tell me then... Why didn't they see the game out? Please tell me how much of an impact Stering had? Ali? Kane? Lallana? At least walker and Dier were on form. They didnt see the game out off the back of a lumped ball into the box, and a header that was guided somewhere towards the goal that looped miles in the air and somehow into the corner. You couldnt lay blame at anyone for the goal, you couldnt blame Roy for it either. It was a total shithouse job by Russia, theyve spent almost 90 mins being battered to **** and stole a point.
Tuna Posted 11 June 2016 Author Posted 11 June 2016 Hoddle asked about Kane taking set pieces, completely refuses to answer the question.
Dr The Singh Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I think they're mostly thanking Roy Hodgson and Team England for that. Take your rose-tinted glasses off... Oh, wait. You're English. But Russia showed true grit, and would thank no one but themselves, they didn't give up and battled to the end
SheppyFox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Start Kane instead of vardy, miss chances, typical England, don't care about the apparent positives, it's Russia for **** sake. Absolutely dog shit, just gonna scrape through the group to get bullied by a decent side on the last 16 or 1/4 final. Had hope before this match but everyone keeps going on about how good we are going forward, where's the ****ing goals then if we're so impressive??
trabuch Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 We weren't negative at all.A sucker punch as they were throwing everything at us. If there had been only 2 minutes injury time every one would be saying how great we were. Just a shame all the miserable cvnts who were willing us to lose can claim a little success. Who are these "we" of which you speak? This is a Leicester City forum, we pissed the league and England don't have a single one of our platyers making an appearance. Feck England.

It's not looking good. Two world class teams up next... every team England play and do well against the same rubbish comes out that they are just terrible...
Kinowe Soorie Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Is Hoddle wearing that t shirt for a bet? I think he's won it if he has?
Dodgy Bob Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 It's retarded.Retarded is having any hope that a team so desperately mismanaged as this England team were ever going to do anything but fail in this tournament. Celebrating the long awaited demise of Hodgson at least makes sense from one perspective.

How can anyone possible argue England werent the better team by a million miles in the game, and Russia must be thanking God for their equaliser. So we bloody should be the better side. Should also look to score more than one goal in case our defence switches off like they do. Can't believe people accept that sort of result. Just shows how far we've fallen
Tuna Posted 11 June 2016 Author Posted 11 June 2016 Woy's up next...too optimistic to hope he'll announce his resignation?

It was a perfectly well worked goal, there was opportunity to stop that goal from happening eg Milner failing to stop the cross. You have to give Russia credit and England have to admit there failure in seeing the game out and not capitalising with there pressing game, for which I blame woy

Can't believe people accept that sort of result. Just shows how far we've fallen I dont accept the result, the result was RIDICULOUS given the way the game went. But people coming on here saying england were poor? fvck off

If he wasn't so negative, and tried to force the Russians to defend rather than letting the come at us then they wouldn't have had the chance. It was shocking.
