Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Can anyone seriously tell me what Sterling and Lallana give your team that Albrighton couldn't? Zero end product.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Russia were atrocious as well, probably the worst team we've played at a major tournament since Trinidad and Tobago.
Guest FriendlyRam Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I'm happy Russia scored. How many times does it need to be said that fat boy Rooney isn't a team player and isn't good enough in major tournaments, he's scored about 1 goal in majors since 2004, where he was an unknown quantity and caught a few aging defenders out... now he's cack and so is Sterling, sterling has pace and that's it, Vardy has pace but also a footballing brain. Sterling wouldn't know what to do with a condom ffs, probably go and make a water balloon with it. It sicekens me that players like Drinkwater, Albrighton and Vardy who all played in a team that won the league can't get in ahead of crap like Henderson, Wilshere and Sterling.... absolute madness Cmon Wales!!!
Donut Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Was one of the biggest false results youll ever see. Woy set the team up well, great balance, Rooney was great in the deeper role, Sterling quiet granted but Dier was terrific in the middle and Rooney was dictating play. We created buckets of chances. We were undone by one, speculative looping header that goes 10 foot over the bar 99 times out of a hundred, and was the only effort on goalthey had other than speculative efforts from 30 yards. The result was highly unjust.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Roy punished for his chain of mistakes - first one squad selection, he had a lack of wide options suprise, suprise, resulting in putting Milner on. Then, the Milner substitution was only viable if Vardy had came on for Kane at the same time / shortly after - because he was taking off his pace threat in Sterling (whatever you think about his performance, he is the only natural wide option we have so he has to play).

What are you on about Rooney was subbed off... and had a great game tonight just go away if you aren't going to properly analyse the game
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Russia were atrocious as well, probably the worst team we've played at a major tournament since Trinidad and Tobago. In all seriousness, think Slovakia look better than Russia on today's showings. I like the look of Kokorin (sp?) but the rest of them were shit. Their striker, the big lad, is the worst striker we've seen so far.
foxes21 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Can anyone seriously tell me what Sterling and Lallana give your team that Albrighton couldn't? Zero end product. Well said. Albrighton has been creating chances all season for two midgets upfont, Shinji & Vards ffs.

casablancas Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Can anyone seriously tell me what Sterling and Lallana give your team that Albrighton couldn't? Zero end product. I think we all agree dude.
Tuna Posted 11 June 2016 Author Posted 11 June 2016 Bringing off Rooney was a big error, failling to bring on Vardy near enough unforgivable. Its always the same with England, Woy was bound to fcuck it up and he's already started. Its really painful supporting England.

Donut Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I didn't think we were great. We played well in that we controlled the game in most parts but created the grand total of **** all, which in the end is what the game is all about. We can't defend, we always give the opposition a chance to score, so we need to utilise our attacking options and win the game. A team that's liable to concede and doesn't create will win nothing. We created absolutely loads of chances. We could have easily scored 4 or 5 on another day. Grand total of fvck all? weve been undone by one looping header

Fox92 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 wouldnt go that far how many england chances second half?? Exactly... Russia came into it second half. We were good first half but I dunno what Hodgson said at HT.
Thracian Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 that was a shit toothless russian team Except for their ability to get their heads on crosses. The one, essentially minor, aspect Woy had to guard against he didn't. What the hell is he paid for?
FuchingKante Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 So angry, they created nothing all game then nick a draw in the dying moments. That's my accumulator ****ed too.
m4DD0gg Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Thing is I'm not even surprised but even worse I'm not that bothered. If that was Leicester I'd have been Livid.
Tuna Posted 11 June 2016 Author Posted 11 June 2016 Vardy didn't come on because he is locked in the lookalike's boot.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 It really wasn't unjust. England didn't deserve to win ... End of. Blind as they come, you probably feel wales fully deserved the win today too
Matt Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Is it wrong I celebrated the Russia goal more than I did the England goal? I know it is, but I cannot support, enjoy or get excited for England whilst that prick is in charge. I was going to go out to watch the game, didn't in the end, good job I didn't because I think i'd have got my head kicked in if I did. Anyway, conceding a last minute goal....Is it really any surprise with 5 of Tottenham's finest bottlers on the pitch?
