RowlattsFox Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Looked like handball there? Can tell Northern Ireland are limited but they're organised.
StanSP Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 both of these sides are pissing me off for different reasons Poland because they can't cross or finish for shit Northern Ireland because they've come not to lose. so frustrating when teams go to major tournaments and they just set up to not concede, as opposed to setting up to not concede as well as trying to score as well.
MC Prussian Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Northern Ireland with the better defensive record than England at the moment. Imagine.
Tuna Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 No time added on ref is most likely bored...like the rest of us.

What do you expect? They have a man playing for Fleetwood in their side and Poland have one from Bayern. Their best players are their defenders so they build the team around them because they know they can qualify with draws these days. Fair play to them I say.

To be fair to NI, that's part of their tactic to score - get Poland more and more frustrated, throwing more men forward without thinking about defence and pounce on any chance that may come their way.
Finnegan Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 I've resorted to trying to piece together a Kosovo national team I'm that bored. Tidy midfield. Basically of Switzerland. Dzemaili (sp?), Xhaka, Behrami as your middle three. Pajtim Kasami an option off the bench? Januzaj and Shaqiri out wide. Mehmedi and Tarashaj up front? The other Xhaka at full back, Lorik Cana at centre half. Fill in the gaps with a few unknowns and that team would comfortably beat what's left of Albania and Switzerland all day long.
bovril Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Jermaine Jenas has trouble conjugating the verb 'to be'.
foxes21 Posted 12 June 2016 Author Posted 12 June 2016 pulis would love to manage this ireland team fair play to them, the poles haven't had a sniff yet
ScouseFox Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 gotta say after england, northern ireland are deffo the best home nation in this comp

Nalis Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 This is very defensive for us. Would take 0-0 but need some support for Lafferty. Midfield don't seem bothered about going forward, hopefully that will change in this half.

A point here and a win against Ukraine is probably best case scenario for NI and should see you through.
MC Prussian Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 POLSKA POWER! Although unlucky work by Northern Ireland, as McGovern's view was impeded by two of his own defenders.
