Jattdogg Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I can understand the excitement at knowing we were knocked out (or could be at that point) but they should be more concerned about playing and studying their opponents for the next match. Queue team complete brexit after the quarters..
AyewJoking Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 i think all of england should dress up as sheep, bend over and let the welsh got to town on us because we deserve it.
ozleicester Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 i think all of england should dress up as sheep, bend over and let the welsh got to town on us because we deserve it. thats pretty much what we did for Iceland wasnt it?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I'm going to go potty when Hazard bags his third to make it 6-0 on Friday.
Alf Bentley Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Where's Finnegan? Has he imploded with joy or drunk himself senseless on leek wine or something?
Finnegan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Where's Finnegan? Has he imploded with joy or drunk himself senseless on leek wine or something? To be fair, as much as I take the piss, those of you who are Leicester fans genuinely have my sincerest sympathies because I agree with you all massively. The same stupidity that spent all season claiming Leicester couldn't win the league (and even implying it was lucky or miraculous when we did) is the same stupidity that's cost you now. Why is Drinkwater not in the starting eleven, nevermind the squad? Albrighton, same. Simpson, same. Why aren't you playing 442? Spain play like Barcelona, Germany play like Bayern, why the **** are England playing like a United side that couldn't even get champions league football, let alone the title? Why on earth are Sturridge, Henderson and Lallana getting picked to play for England over the CHAMPIONS of England? I have zero sympathy for England as an institution, none for your journalists, none for the United and Liverpool and Tottenham fans out there that have mocked City all season. This, right here, is part 2 of Justice for Leicester. I love you all (well, not Scouse), I've stood with you all home and away all year and I've never been more proud to be a Leicester fan. None of you deserve that shower of shit you've had to sit through for the last few weeks. But the rest of your nation? - exactly what they deserve. In the words of Slaven Bilic now EIGHT years ago - "WAKE UP. We're just better than you."
surrifox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I'm going to go potty when Hazard bags his third to make it 6-0 on Friday. I'm conflicted here - would like to see Andy King do well but want Ramsey and Bale (mostly because of his ridiculous top knot) to get fecked over and whilst Hazard is a favourite Belgium have some tossers too

surrifox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Ha ha fair point - on reflection it's because he's quite good and properly Welsh !

This is why he has that stupid hair...
Strokes Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 It's the year of the underdog, I hope Wales win it. England got what they deserved and it couldn't have happened in a more apt way. They won't learn, we will continue to make the same mistakes.

In the words of Slaven Bilic now EIGHT years ago - "WAKE UP. We're just better than you." Hit every nail on the head there Finners.Do you know what,I couldn't give a monkeys about last night. What we witnessed this year with Leicester was something I thought I would never see in my lifetime, and not anybody can take that away from us.It doesn't get much better than that.if England had won the euros ( stop giggling)it wouldn't have come anywhere near the joy and emotion I felt, and still do about our campaign.I joined FB just to remind a few people from my past who royally took the p!ss when I was at school as I'm a loan fox last year. One of very few posts read" Life complete" when we won it. To be fair they all wanted us to win and a few Spurs mates congratulated me. Good luck for the rest of the tournament
Tuna Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Nice to see 'Welsh' players such as Ashley Williams (From Wolverhampton), Andy King (Maidenhead), James Chester (Warrington), Hal Robson-Kanu (London), Jonny Williams (Tunbridge Wells), George Williams (Milton Keynes), Sam Vokes (Southampton) and Simon Church (Amersham) celebrating.

Do I really have to go through the list of people who have represented England at a plethora of sports that were born elsewhere? Again? Reaaaally?
DB11 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Do I really have to go through the list of people who have represented England at a plethora of sports that were born elsewhere? Again? Reaaaally? I don't think he's getting at that - I think he's getting at they might play for Wales but that doesn't mean they shouldn't support their actual national team?
Finnegan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I don't think he's getting at that - I think he's getting at they might play for Wales but that doesn't mean they shouldn't support their actual national team? .... Their actual national team is Wales? Who are you to pre determine how they self identify?
DB11 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 .... Their actual national team is Wales? Who are you to pre determine how they self identify? They're born where they're born.
Finnegan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 They're born where they're born..... And..............? Is Mo Farah* not British? People have a right to self identify however they see fit. The governing bodies of sports then have a responsibility to decide how eligible that person is. If Jonny Williams sees himself as Welsh, identifies as Welsh, who are you to argue? Plenty of people living in America, Australia, England, Scotland and plenty of other places identify passionately as Irish. Who are you to say they aren't? Not sure if you're being deliberately or accidentally thick (or just trolling.) * first person that popped in to my head, thousands of examples world wide.

You're the only one saying I'm saying they can't, not sure where you've got that from. I simply said that if a person is born in England then that's fact. That is the country they are from. People can identify however they want and I've not got a problem with that. If a male wants to identify as a female then fine, I don't care, but it doesn't change the fact that genetically they are male. Same thing really.

AyewJoking Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 thats pretty much what we did for Iceland wasnt it? bit generous calling our players sheep, more like lambs.
Guest MattP Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Bit weird but each to their own I suppose. I doubt these Welsh players hate England specifically, but I can understand them hating the overpaid, lazy bunch of tossers that represent us. I can't stand them myself. Hope Wales win it personally, would be an incredible story.
