Pleasing to see this article, sounds as if we are looking to have success in the cups next season.

I, amongst others, have pointed out it'd be great to see us win some silverware next season, starting with the Community Shield hopefully.

Essentially It's all part of becoming a bigger club and it's nice to see Claudio & the club's ambition.

He was not talking about FA cup,was not he

he is talking about winning Pl again

anyway club is in the champions league and there is next season after winning one,who cares about cup

I'd like to restart from the beginning," he said. "Forty points. Then, after that, we want to be in the top 10.

"Then we want to go forward in the Champions League. The other dream is to lift another cup. Why not? Try to be positive.

Please please please can we win the FA Cup. No matter what everyone on here says, it's not OK that we've never won it. It would complete the best period in the club's history.

This 100%. If we win the FA Cup, surely we've won every major English trophy possible?

Imagine winning League One, Championship, Premier League & FA Cup within the space of 7 years. Any cup win would be excellent though, whether it be FA, League Cup etc etc. It would be great to see us continuing to win major cups in the near future...

It's a very traditional English trophy so it'd be nice to add to our collection.

But not at top four expense.

The FA Cup is the missing piece of the jigsaw. Lets get it.

We've won virtually everything else domestically this century so let's do this.

Disagree, I'd take the FA Cup and 10th place now if it was offered. Like others have said its now the missing piece of the jigsaw.

That's fair enough, I just think that moving forward, cementing a CL place will have us firmly listed as a big club and attract bigger players.

Of course. Top 4 is important and it would be fantastic to be in there again. Top 4 & FA Cup win in an ideal world.

Can't stand all the FA Cup guff tbh. Wouldn't say no to winning it but nobody cares about it these days really.

That's the view from over here, but I thought it was a big deal to you locals.

Winning the FA Cup which stays in our trophy cabinet forever > top four but not winning the league.

It's still pretty great and you still get magical upsets and that but its traditions have been routinely shat on enough for it not to resonate nearly as much as it did even when I was young.

Plus the competition clearly hates us. We've lost more finals then anyone else, we regularly get cheated out of it, we always get shit draws and we got knocked out by a League 2 striker signed via Teletext causing the biggest downturn in our history.

Rubbish, plenty people do care, particularly my age group. Winning the FA Cup would be massive. Of course, plenty on here think older fans feelings and beliefs don't count, but we have paid our dues. Show some respect.
