Dan Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Barcelona are brilliant but it's far too easy for them. To be fair, we do look dangerous going forward, and like the other night we should've definitely scored by now, but defensively we look all over the place.
LCFC_Oak Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 All this proves is that we have a lot of learning to do before we can compete at the next level. You can't give teams that can pass like Barca so much time on the ball. We have the quality, we just need to learn how to play against the best teams.

foxes21 Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 you really think we'd be this wide open on sunday/any competitive match? if we faced psg/barca in the CL we'd have 12 men behind the ball, like we did vs man city away. claudio has told the boys to just get a proper workout

Kinowe Soorie Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 The difference when you are a top side, is that you take your chances. Onwards and upwards
stevelcfc Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Should have scored 2. Defence all over the place, decent but lacking movement going forward. Bover'd; nah.

The Doctor Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Watching on delay and Christ you lot aren't half overreacting. Some poor defending and Barca have been ruthless in punishing it,but that beside we've looked OK; creating chances, defensive line has been fairly sturdy in terms of catching them offside. Don't think 3-0 is that fair a reflection. Obviously second best, but it's hardly the 6-1 to Portsmouth that ended sousas reign and against top opposition.

Shocking so far, terrible. Wow you really are a prize cnut. It's said Suarez and Messi that have been the difference you absolute tool. Put them in our team and I'd wager we would be 3-0 up.
HankMarvin Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 At least Celtic scored and looked like they could string a few passes in the final third, this is a tad embarrassing
Mark_w Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Been a great pre-season. Lull them all into a false sense of security and then in the Champions League we strike. Top stuff.
TJB-fox Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 God this is an awful watch. Being run ragged in midfield and defence is all over the shop. Yes it's a friendly and yes it is barca but we need to improve, especially ahead of sunday
ARTY_FOX Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 It's a pre-season friendly. Are we ever good in pre-season? Some of you need to chill out
Finnaldo Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Remember lads, we'll be taking a flight back from California and be playing vs Messi and Suarez every game in the Champions League. And we'll definitely be playing our young, inexperienced LB against them as well. Christ boys
Dylster Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Mahrez isn't going to stick around for this. Think he'll go now.
PAULCFC Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 We definately need a behind closed doors friendly between the charity shield and hull to get the strikers firing!
phildw Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 I'm sure these hammerings are really boosting the confidence! It's just more ammunition for the 'one season wonder' hecklers.
Guest Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 Happier with the play than the score. Great to be playing Barca instead of Rotherham.
Lesteban Posted 3 August 2016 Posted 3 August 2016 We look like a side that has flown 6,000 miles in the last week or so. Two in the centre of midfield doesn't look a good bet without Kante, on this showing at least. Their forwards are just genius.
