I would love to know why we are only 70% fit on the opening day of the season.

Shit pre season, that championsounds cup was a total waste of time and most likely caused us more harm than good.

i think he means playing at 70 percent of the level of last year as opposed to fitness

Well he said we were at 60% earlier in the week so we're getting there lol

Claudio knows what went wrong, as do we all, and I am confident that he will sort it out.

It doesn't take long for the back stabbing to begin. One bloody match, ffs.  The knee jerkers are back in town!

why is it back stabbing? it was a piss poor performance - quite the opposite of last year.

Are we to live in an age were we are spoon fed our opinions, the players didn't play amazing by any means.

Lucky to get a goal, the performance was so bad you had to wonder if it was the same players as last year.

I'm absolutely well pissed, I watched the match with some foxes fans in new York, I predicted we would fooook up.   We have not replaced our defensive machine, in fact our pre season has been awful and then Ran tells us his players are 70℅.  Wtf is going on, that performance was well bad, let's not sugar coat it...Hull were doggo, we were worse then doggo.

I think with the language barrier, it is sometimes hard for him to be understood fully in press conferences. I think he was trying to say that we huffed and puffed but just didn't gel as a unit. I think he is trying to get back to working as a unit in the Arsenal game rather than in individual bursts. With the percentage, I think he is saying we are playing at 70% of last years good performances not fitness of last year. Although I do disagree with that. We do look 70% fit.

One game, one solitary league game and the overreaction from some on here is unbelievable!

Yes we're undercooked, Vardy not sharp or match fit yet, Huth a big miss and it looks like international globetrotting has done us no favours.

As for the knee jerking, yes it was not good but get a grip with the end of the world shite, the Don will sort it!

We all know that their aim is to go out and win the football match no matter what! It didn`t happen today, but so what! You can`t win them all and we will get better! We are only looking for 40 points remember.

One solitary game against the disorganised canon fodder that are Hull. As champions you go in wanting to show why, to prove yourselves, to take this first fixture gift and lay down a marker - not just fookin lay down.

Professional and personal pride have to kick in surely. Otherwise last years miracle was just that and only ever that.  It isn't knee jerk at all. Play with that little spirit and we are doomed to a typical Leicester season.  I thought we were aspiring to a little more.

I really do love Claudio, I do. But now it really is time for him to earn his new bumper wage and prove that he isn't the doddering old idiot the press made him out to be....

Leicester can not rely anymore on long passes to Vardy & Musa, that tactics was a one season wonder. What Ranieri should do is make them train every day, especially passing with the men next to them. They should learn to pass accurately, as other teams do. To those saying that everyday training might cause injuries - they have enough substitutes (plus juniors) and they also have one month before the CL start, so no need to worry. And it is Ranieri's task to teach them, if he is waiting for the players to adapt themselves, he 'd better gone.

That preseason was shite for fitness really. The club made a lot of money, but too much travelling not enough concentrating on the league. When they were parading around L.A, they were probably not even thinking about the new season - totally different to last season where we were only going to Burton, etc and everyone was training more. I mean, how many of our players have even completed 90 minutes in pre-season. Man U was the first 90 minutes for a lot of our players. Over the next week they need to step it up.

The fans are aspiring for more then what the owners have asked Ranieri to achieve.

The owner is aiming at 40 pts and so is Ranieri...and it is not a tactic

Otherwise they would have never let Kante go they would have matched chelsea offer.

They also would have spent a little bit more then getting average players.

Totally agree.  This is exactly what happened to Chelsea last year. They were leggy from match one last season and never recovered.

the owners have always said they want us to be a top 5 team

kante wanted to leave, could have offered him silly money and he'd have still left

the signings we've got are quality prospects for the future
