benpicko Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Why do we just pass back immediately tbh, had plenty of options forwards after the penalty decision
Chester Dontlie Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 For fuchssake Clattencvnt, that was a peno

foxy boxing Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 It seems pretty obvious we will get less penalties given this season than last season

foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 That half was a 10 fold improvement over hull in terms of defending and getting the basics right.

limeydale Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 well the arse had most of it but thet did fook all
FireFox Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 I feel a red card coming, not sure for us or them though.
cityfanlee23 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 IMO we need a CM and a player who can step in for the Okazaki role who offers a bit more with way of getting forward, at the moment there's no link between vardy and the midfield.
Webbo Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 When even Arsenal defend deep against you you need to consider a plan b. Not a bad half though.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 We have this, mahrez looked to spring to life towards the end of the half come on!

Absolutely, we need a player that can drive the team forward and is more comfortable on the ball.

Mark Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Just now, hatasi said: mendy is not championship quality Hardly anyone plays two in centre midfield though, expecting a lot for him to come into a new league and make it work like Kante did.
Sir Shep Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 If it had been the other way round it would have been given but I'd say the "incident" in the box was very hard to call.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Improved performance in pretty much all areas - look a lot more solid at the back, Drinkwater looks a lot better (although I'm not yet convinced by Mendy), Mahrez looks as though he's bothered and has actually tracked back very well and Vardy looks more like the Vardy of last season. I'm still concerned about ball retention and getting outnumbered in midfield, but a lot more positive than the Hull debacle.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Mendy is champions league quality just watch...
Sionnach gorm Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Team seems to be doing better. Mendy, I think, is doing a good job. Referee should've called a penalty. Okazaki is pressing like a devil. The defense is much sharper. Arsenal keeps moving the ball up but seems clueless on what it should do next. Some improvement necessary for Leicester. On to the second half!
