You're right, but it's more than that too. It's because they lead the way when it comes to new, (by and large) original chants - both lyrically and tune-wise.

 

Yes, it's impressive because they all sing it. But it's also because their away ends 'get it' in terms of being willing to give new stuff a go. I wish we had the same attitude.

You suggested there's nothing wrong with stealing chants from other clubs, and I asked what your reaction would be if we stole a chant from another team.

It's different to copy a club's anthem rather than to copy the tune that another club use to praise their right back.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to play devil's advocate to try and prove a point. You and I both know the difference here.

Of course I know the difference but where do you draw the line between songs that aren't OK to copy and songs that are.

Songs that people want to copy are copied because they're new, fun, loud and get other people going.

the city was brugge where leicester were huge

we played them out of sight and thankfully our fans weren't in any fights

we scored early so we could get ready for burnley

they were never in the game we made them look lame

with vardy and slim we knew we were gonna win
