Mark_w Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Forgive my ignorance, but do we know if we'll be playing on Tuesdays or Wednesdays yet?
SantiagoFox Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 I heard the dates come out sometime tomorrow....

StanSP Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 so glad we're not going to anywhere like Bulgaria or Russia mainly because of the longer travelling time compared to the teams we have. Especially Brugge and Copenhagen being relatively close.
Mark_w Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Google image searching Porto, Brugge, Copenhagen and Leicester is great fun. One of these things is not like the others.
Wymsey Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Hope the city council erect a big screen somewhere for all games.
GaelicFox Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Bruges already excited and Can't wait to have a pint and come frittes with my two old Irish pals and muckers
RowlattsFox Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Just quickly looked at flights from Manchester (nearest to me) and you can get to all 3 cheaply. Flights to Brussels for £12.99 wonder how long that will last.

They'll need permission from BT, I don't think any other cities do that, I know it is a unique experience, but the weather won't be getting any better and everywhere will be showing the game. I would also say that we are not facing teams that travel in big numbers (although I could be wrong). It won't be like Everton when hundreds of Italians without tickets came to party. Actually does anyone know what sort of numbers these teams bring, assuming Porto has the biggest support.

LinekersApples Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 No team ever to be drawn in Group G has ever won the Champions League
goose2010 Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 Only around 280 mile to Bruges, feeling a road trip coming on!

Yeah i don't think we'll suffer too much price wise. I even looked at porto at some midweek dates and can get there 44 return from liverpool. I'd love to get to them all
goose2010 Posted 25 August 2016 Posted 25 August 2016 If flights to Copenhagen aren't any good fly to Malmö and get the train over spectacular views and Malmös really nice to.
