Yeah we should have scored. And that would have flipped the game because the pressure was on them. We waste(d) chance after chance. Albrighton was the one that stood out he shot instead of putting a ball across!? 2nd half was better - Gray stood out - but we were awful.

There's always an over reaction when we lose, today is no different.
i do think we need to alter the system from time and time and change personnel a bit but we've actually conceded 3 goals today from corners, 2 of which were truly embarrassing defending to say the least, nothing to do with the formation.

Everybody becomes better players when they dont play and we lose as we'll all say 'so and so' should of played etc but we're not suddenly going to become world beaters by swapping half the side, just a few tweaks needed.

 

Lets not forget, only 6 games in, we're 11th and we've played Arsenal, Liverpool and United already

An over reaction? Is it? That was one of the most shambolic 45 minutes I have ever witnessed. That Rashford goal fgs, we weren't even looking the right way. We didn't just lose, we embarrassed ourselves with a performance well below what we are capable of.

I never said it was good btw and i expect better of course, the defending was horrendous for the goals but we're hardly bottom having lost 4-1 to Burnley. If we're still having these sorts of results in a month or two then i agree more but early days, in Ranieri we trust

The bigger team have worked us out. Simpson is a target every game now as soon as he's up against pace he's in trouble. Also Huth and Morgan could only go so long before they started leaking goals time for some young blood at the back.

Diabolical is harsh. He at least stretched United a few times and put a ball on a plate for King to score... More than Mahrez, Albrighton and Vardy contributed. As for Amartey, simply incapable of tracking runners,,,,, yet Schlupp the scapegoat...... Where was he in the 1st half at 4-0 down!!!??

Apart from brilliantly setting up what should have been our second goal? He's far more direct than Albrighton who today, was pants.

Agree King should have scored also agree Albrighton was poor but I didn't see where he stretched them at all. I'd say our standout players were Drinkwater and Gray (and that's all).

Again, i never said Schlupp was good and would agree that Drinkwater was decent yet again, however for people to single out Schlupp is harsh

You can say that again!!! Granted, we all have to play the same teams twice, but the arrangement of fixtures CAN have a heck of an impact one way or another, particularly in the opening 6 games. So we've played 3 big clubs in quick succession, yet Man City and Tottenham have only played 1 each, the rest being crap teams which they SHOULD be beating.

Call me petty, but it really bothers me the way the fixtures are arranged. Talk about us being thrown in the deep end.
