Unforgivable defensive errors handed the game to United before half time.

 

Claudio really needs to consider his options as far as formation goes and transfers ongoing as we're missing Kante much more than we thought we would.

I have to say, I agree we were dreadful in defence today but some of the derogatory comments and personal abuse towards our players in the match thread was fickle and embarrassing.

They didn't win that, We lost it. Can't make so many basic errors and expect anything other than a big loss.  Handed it to them on a plate.

The only positives I can take out the match is that I took Morgan out my fantasy team and Demarai Gray, If Mahrez starts the next game i'm not gonna be happy, I love the lad but it's almost a Rooney situation, he's playing shit, but still playing, can we not drop him?!

Shambles. Not alot else to say. Our midfield has turned into garbage and the defence can't defend. Big problems ahead I think. 

Gray has to start for me. Only one that's appears to offer anything.

So glad for Gray, the guy looks class and really needed that first goal to give him that confidence he needs to take his game to other teams.

 

Drinkie was an absolute monster, covered every blade of grass twice.

 

Slimani is slow as dicks, if we plan to counter attack he shouldn't be up top alone.

 

Schlupp needs a brain transplant. I've never seen a player make so many incorrect decisions on a consistent basis.

 

Other than that, embarassing at set pieces but glad we've found a formation that will suit us against stronger teams. The champions league dream is still alive!

Amartey not good enough, we can't play 4-4-2 away from home, we really do need to sort out defending from corners we've a shambles from them for the past few years now. 

 

2nd half was a little better but you could tell Man Utd weren't trying as much.

I put the full full blame on Ranieri today! 

 

Liverpool and now Man Utd before Champions League. 

 

Our attention to detail seems to have gone out the window, poor concentration, no intensity and seemed to be happy to accept defeat by half time. 

 

Subs was strange - don't believe Vardy & Mahrez was taken off to rest. Gray definitely deserves start against Porto! Mahrez can sit on the bench and fight for his place as he has been absent all season so far. 

 

Amartey is jack of all trades, master of none. Doesn't tackle, intercept, creative or show any form of intensity. 

 

We clearly need to work on our corners - defensively and attacking, both as poor as each other. 

 

I want a good champions league run but we cant sacrifice every game before it.
