In the first 10-15 minutes, I thought you got into the game, but once we scored, it was game over, don't put yourselves down, your premier league champions, who'd of thought that this time last season.

Think some of our fans need to read your last paragraph and gain some perspective.

The big boys are back in business and we need to calm down and regain some composure...even Chelsea got whupped today....Porto next in the European Cup.... Did we think that last September!!!

Exactly, this time last year, a lot of your fans thought you were getting relegated, now look at you, premier league champions and in the champions league as well.

The problem seems to be that no body is pressing (Drinkwater excepted). We stood like statues and Man U did want any half decent team does with space and time, they played through us. Liverpool did the same, all be it with far more pace and guile. 442 is an issue, but why aren't the players pressing and harassing anymore. The passion & desire seems to have completely gone. Vardy just stands around looking for the ball over the top and does nothing else. Amartey's young but he stands like a rabbit in the headlights as soon as an opposing player has the ball. He doesn't react at all to anything happening around him. Either attack the ball carrier or track the runner, do something?

There was a point in the second half when a ManU player takes the ball off Schlupp, he doesn't bother trying to get the ball back, he just ambles around like its a holiday. Hardwork was the basis of our success, once we lose that, we're just another lower level PL team.

I can take a loss, but not players trying. I think we will see a reaction against Porto, but unfortunately we've lost our consistency and looking at the players demeanour, this is how its going to be for the rest of the season.

I wouldn't go that far, I think you'll finish in the top 10 personally.

Defending was worrying but complete lack of any real threat up front is more worrying for me. Improved in second half mostly thanks to Gray. Extra midfield body clearly needed and think we need to mix up long balls and passing game a bit as we're too predictable.

Had great fun though...hadn't been to an away for a while and a lot of stuff on here had said our support wasn't great away at the mo. Throat bit sore but worth it. Man utd may have been the better team today but I wouldn't swap my club for that sterile shit if you paid me.

I understand that this is a forum for people to share opinions about today's game and other topics but I have to admit that I find some of the comments very worrying and hopefully not reflective of the general City supporter (like myself). This group of players have lots of credit in the bank, they have spent the past 18 months achieving well beyond what could reasonably have been expected from them, they will be targeted this year and turned over at times but their character is unquestionable and they will bounce back, they are not a group of players who have ever let us down to date. They deserve nothing but our support at this stage (the whole team... Nobody excluded) and I sincerely hope they get it regardless of a few poor results. Hopefully when people see Morgan walk out Tuesday and the champions league music plays people will get the the goosebumps and some perspective of what they have achieved. What a time to be a city supporter...........

The first half was ****ing atrocious. I've never seen such a pathetic and inept display of defending set-pieces from our side in a very long time, nothing more than schoolboy errors to say the least. We are so much better than that. The game was lost at half time, even more so with the double substitution afterwards. The second half was all about damage limitation. Gray was the only player to come out of the game with any real credit, showing energy with the ball and scoring a superb goal.

Apparently a few of them have stayed over and gone to the boxing tonight.

I'd be saying Oi, get on the ****ing coach, get back to Leicester and I wanna see you in training tomorrow to go over this debacle, embarrassment and joke.

And I know its a drop in the ocean on their £100k contracts but the 11 players who featured in the first half can refund the fans who went today out their own pockets.

Some big positives from today:

1. Demari Gray

2. Our players don't 'Dab' when they score.

Utd fans actively encouraging the dab with a banner referencing steven Gerrard's slip. Tragic.

If only that would be the case.

Its interesting that both Vardy and Mahrez have dropped their level since the huge pay rises.

Youre right, some of them have stayed in Mancs for the fight. I have no problem with that personally. It's their night off and they will know how shite they were today.

Porto will be different IMO. I have no worries about that game. We'll win.

I have a feeling we'll do better in the Champs League than we will in the Prem this season.

We certainly seem to have lost the intensity that we played with last season.

It`s almost like they have let out a big sigh of relief from last season, and said we can relax now, and have lost the desire of last season.

Why scapegoat him?

He offered more in the time he was on than either Mahrez or Albrighton

So we can't criticise any single players performances anymore??

It's not that "well x did this but x didn't do that" type of criticsm, Schlupp just looks like he doesn't know what to do. Sometimes he looks like he's not even concentrating, I remember a chance where the ball flew across to the back post, and Pogba was able to take his time clearing it because Schlupp was 20 feet behind him stood still instead of running in and attacking the ball.

But as said before, i'm not particularly scapegoating, the whole team was poor (maybe apart from DD) but I just don't think Jeff has a decent level of (football) intelligence.

Just by the Twitter handles there's a Newcastle fan, a Spurs fan and a Liverpool fan in there. I bet the others are either fans of other teams or saying #RanieriOut ironically and thinking they're hilarious.

There's no real Ranieri Out sentiments...yet.

Some of the worst defending I've ever seen. Utterly embarrassing. We are better than this and we need to start showing it. Ranieri got it wrong again for me today.
