leicesterseddon Posted 28 September 2016 Posted 28 September 2016 I thought it looked shite. The club shouldn't get involved in this sort of stuff but they seem determined to do so and our success on the pitch blunts people's disposition to complain about it.
foxinsocks Posted 28 September 2016 Posted 28 September 2016 Yet it makes us look a together club. ... and we are.... mostly
AYLESBURY FOX 1961 Posted 28 September 2016 Posted 28 September 2016 this kind of stunt needs some direction from birch to get everyone to hold up their bit of card at the right time - and the noise levels were so off the scale to get any kind of coordination - blimey i never even heard the teams announced tho i am sure they must have been.......
CockneyFox Posted 28 September 2016 Posted 28 September 2016 Good idea from the club, execution could've been a little better but any attempt to improve the atmosphere and presence of our home games - UFS or club - should be applauded
CosbehFox Posted 28 September 2016 Posted 28 September 2016 So it's confirmed. UEFA allow one song for the club to play before kick off. For example, Celtic have Never Walk Alone. The muppets at our club chose Justin Timberlake!
adejo92 Posted 28 September 2016 Posted 28 September 2016 I think they should parachute a fox in holding the match ball with flares.

Underdog and Club foot. Did we get Fire when Slim scored ?? Not that we could've heard it over that noise.

No Bocelli video though, UEFA rules I guess.

Always thought you was one of the good guys on here and could take a joke. Perhaps I Was wrong. So I will spell it out. our owners have turned our great club round. They put us in the prem and kept us up. They have spent more on clappers than Mahrez cost. They give away scarfs t shirts breakfasts' beers vouchers. They don't even come from this country but they support us. They have also given us our greatest season ever and now Champions League. To be honest if they put up pink and white stripes I would laugh and get on with it.. Step back to the Shipmans we would have got fvck all.

What on earth is all that for all I wanted to know was what they were trying to say with the blue and white stripes, if it was just our colours then fine if somewhat boring for the effort involved. As for taking a joke well I'm sorry I missed that but I would call it sarcasm and as is widely known it's difficult to see that on a forum, which is perhaps why you didn't recognise my jokey sarcy reply.

Don't forget, at away games on numerous occasions they walk over to us after the game to thank us for the support, that to me shows what great owners we have on its own. I've never seen the Man city owner or Roman walk over to an away end after a game, infact I don't think the man city owner even attends home games.

The final fifteen to ten minutes before the kick off, the stadium is under UEFA control and they give each club one opportunity to ramp up the atmosphere. We chose the soundtrack to a Dreamworks childrens film. Similarly UEFA control half-time and the immediate moments after the game. Hence no Birch and no announcer.

Never knew that, the half time was identical to Brugges in they showed highlights of all that nights games, which is a good thing. In Brugges they also did score flashes on the screens as the goals went in during the game, that can't be a UEFA thing as it never happened on Tuesday night.
