nothing against criticism or moaners....but!!

The only criticism I have is that we haven't learnt the black art of diving and feigning injury yet. Watching Barca and Suarez it seems that's the key in Europe. Big Wes needs to go down a few times and  roll around the pitch as though he's been shot and make sure the refs watching him.

We were awful first half yesterday.

Besides the goal we were absouletely shocking. Abysmal even.

Can't stand the boo boys, especially in the ground. We were sloppy in patches in the 1st half but it was not abysmal by any definition as some arse hole has said above, people need to take a reality check. Go watch that game in 2004 at home when we lost 5-0 to villa and see where we have come from. Some w*nk*r behind me just f*ng moaned and criticised about every player through the whole game, especially Drinky, who played well. People like this need to shut the **** up or stay at home. Sorry for the language but I really wanted to punch him!

Bet man city fans are moaning this morning. And spurs fans. Us, we played crap and still won, how cool is that! Imagine winning the CL with the shittiest display of football ever, and still we'd moan, cos that's what people from Leicester do best.

Posted

i can't understand how anyone can moan, we are premier league champions and top of our champions league group and still people find something to moan about, it's the nothing is ever good enough society we live in and people wanting more and more and can't be happy with what they've got

Yesterday the whole day was a real moan day.

I reckon there wasnt a positive post in the 1st 18hrs of the day.

You all have a forums right to moan and give your views and opinions,

but with Muzzy, Blue tinted, myselfcwith others, have as much right to moan at the moaners,

not because their analyse is off the mark, but one trys to balance out days like yesterday.

Even after making history with 3 CL wins under our belt, it was like listening to the Song

"Gloomy Sunday" fom Billie holiday.

Wheres that FEARLESS humour gone, the great Leicester Sarcastic wit

that denies and hides that miserable feeling.

last year when winning we used to sing 'We are staying up' or Boring Boring Leicester.

Lets turn ut on its head have a laugh, spit against the wind,

we all know it not jelling at the moment....

This is Leicester city ffs do we really  "know what we are" or are we losing track.

A swallow (pl title) doesnt make a summer (future dream team).

AND yes I do hope we use last season to improve our credits, but heyho I'll roll with the dice.

No I wouldnt accept relegation, but the dips and any highs still need to be played out.

Its just if we carry on moaning even before team is selected or game kick-offs,we end up

with a forum of misery and spite, and a future of gloom Sundays.

I suppose it is the old story of optimists against pessimists scenario...:trumpet: With a bit of  plus

Shove off Foxy - Unless we win every game, every week I'm going to come on here and make disrespectful, childish and hurtful comments about all our players.

Keep the faith.

If you watch that first half back you'll realise how bad we were. We couldn't string three passes together, Drinkwater kept booting the ball to no-one and misplaced passes went all over the shop.

Yeah we've come far but the thing people are pissed off about is the fact we were great last season, and now we look pretty crap. Champions League tickets at best are a rip off, regardless of what you say everyone has an opinion and that bloke paid a good 55 quid, possibly more to watch what was in the first half utter dross. (Except the goal of course) Yeah we've come far but at what point do you let go of the 'looking back in the past to League 1 sorta thing?' If you look back to 2004 Arsenal did the unbeatable season, Portsmouth finished 13th..

We've come a fair way but we've also spent a fair whack in the past few months. It's frustrating to see a team which looked unbeatable last season reduced to looking well slightly clueless. We rolled over for Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd and the commitment shown by them players was shocking. It's at this point you have the right to question the players and even Ranieri. Yeah if you ignore last season you would expect to lose against these teams away, but we just looked pathetic, and the one positive to take out of those three games, (Gray) couldn't even get in the squad to play Copenhagen. Copenhagen were not the best team in the world, and admittedly we should have probably lost if Cornelius would have finished them couple of chances.

Personally I'm questioning Ranieri's tactics in all of this. His reluctance to be negative away to grind out a result has cost us massively against those three teams. Yeah we don't want to see negative football but flood the midfield, play one up top and try to grind out a result.

Yeah we've all blokes sitting next to us at the games who piss you off, moan, annoy you, twat you with a clap banner every five seconds giving you bad papercuts, it's a fact of life when going to the football.

Two kinds of people here:

1) The ones that want to continue reflecting on the glory of last season and enjoy the Champions League before eventually going happily back in our box

or

2) Those of us who wanted to progress and continually challenge the big clubs and build on from last season. These people aren't going to be happy with how far we've fallen from grace this season.

One can do (2) and push that dream, but carry on still digesting and wallowing in (1)

and be clever by enjoying the moment, without trying to push (2) until  it hurts, frustrates and getting well stressed.

What I /We cant change, I see no point in opening the doors to that hall of stress .

If we were Liverpool, Man.city or Chelsea, I would be demanding more.

Blackburn threw money into the wind, and couldnt keep up that rythm of high destiny.

Now dont misunderstand me, the duty of this club is to take these 2 seasons wonder

and try and build on it, its the one Chance to pull and push us into a new era of

Continual high level Premier league football, but of our 1st 15 players of this season,

How many of them have reached their individual pinnacle.

My opinion ,we last season reached that end peek with this group of bbone players.

Saying that, using my heart and not head, they all deserve this 1st few months of the season,

Like Ranieri, I believed and still do, that the players will pull it around and hold a top 10.

We went after and chased signing1-2 CBs , it didnt work out. !!!

Unfortunately IMO, we are missing the on form Huth and Morgan,

more than the transfered Kante. Amartey and D.Drinkwater need that solid wall behind them.

Our strikers, mean nothing if that back 6 cant hold, then stride forward

to supply 'decent' service that cuts open and provides the clear cut chances.

Your points on 1 and 2 are true enough , but there are various thoughts and ideas that float on the wind between the two.

At present 1 take (1) cos its in the bag, and the endeavours should not be forgotton so easily.

I just don't see why people go to the games just to be negative. There is time and place to protest when we have a right not be happy about the team or results, as Leicester fans we have all been there and seen the bad times,  but the season after we win the league, first time in the champions league and when we are winning the game is not one.  If we are not playing well getting on the players back will not help. How about join in the singing and increase the atmosphere. However yes I do agree the prices are a joke.

I want to give the precious little soldiers getting upset a great big hug.

If venting on here helps d/w the angst then fair play.

I personally feel some of the overt and extreme negativity is both unfair and counter productive.

Constructive criticism and lively debate is fun and interesting, irrational hissy fitting is boring and pointless.

Opinions eh, who'd have them? All I know is this is the interweb and I'm more right than you :)
