Copenhagen pre match.

Slimani needs to be careful where he picks up a 3rd yellow. If we're winning this game convincingly he could do with picking up a booking so that he's available for the Porto match and (hopefully) the last 16.

Just looked it up and the average was around 15,000. Probably big compared to other Danish team but considering Reading are averaging more than that in the Championship I'd say that's probably where he got it from.

Their biggest crowd of the season so far was 25k against Brugge. Last season their big derby against Brondby was 29k.

It is said around 33k has been sold for tomorrow - so all that crap about us not being a pull and a small English team is a load of crap. Parken holds 38k - I think that's the point but capacity means naff all, heard that from all those big clubs last season.

Dear oh dear! Looking at that vid reminds me of D2 football. The home sides defending was shocking. The first goal looked like offisde from the original pass in the box, the home team should have been in the game but for an incorrect offside decision!! That second goal where Santander got kicked in the head was hilarious defending. The defender was well placed to head but he tried to kick it PMSL?! Then the 3rd goal the GK getting beaten near post like that? Some of the defending in this game was shocking and Copenhagen will have their hands full if they think they are playing a team of that standard.

I think they will have to play offensive football and that will suit us big time. I was going to wait for the line-ups before having a bet on us in this game as I think we will win with a 451 again but I think with the quality we have, 5/2 seems too big a price even with a 442 including Slim and Vards up front. Vardy is starting to regain that hunger and sharpness as are a number of prem players who played in the Euros in the summer so lets win this group in style and some ressies a crack in the final two matches!

I think the last couple of games have seen us getting our act together in the Premier League, which for me is an absolute must. CL has been great and I've been as excited as anyone and so pleased we gave it a real shot. But I think we should be more pragmatic and realise that we're not going to win this. Yes, last year we did the impossible so, in theory, we should have no limits. But we're really not going to beat a Barca, Real, Bayern or Juve over two legs, are we?

For this reason (and the good position we've put ourselves in), I'd use Wednesday to give one or two key men a rest and keep them sharp for the Prem. Not wholesale changes, but one or two tweaks from Saturday - I would go:

Schmeichel

Simpson

Wasilewski

Huth

Fuchs

Mahrez

Drinkwater

Amartey

Gray

Okazaki

Slimani

subs: Zieler, Hernandez, Schlupp, Albrighton, King, Vardy, Ulloa

I think Morgan could do with a full rest and, while Hernandez could step in, I'd go for Was if we left the other three unchanged. Hernandez on the bench covers him or Simpson. Musa took a knock and is finding form on the LW, no need to risk him this game. Drinky probably needs a rest the most, but he's too pivotal to leave out - maybe if it was the last group game and we'd already qualified. He's been playing well with King, but I'd bring in amartey against his old team and give Kingy a rest.

Daily Mail Caption to photo reads "Shinji Okazaki PULLS A FACE as he plays on his phone"

...but surely that is his NORMAL FACE - I'd be dead insulted if I was Shinji lol

Claudio just had his pre match conference.

Slimani still out with injury, won't be risked. Musa is fine.

Slimani now has to try and avoid any further yellow cards for the rest of our CL campaign.

This may prove problematic..

And yet not one aspect of it was any worse than the horse shit we served up at Old Trafford.

Playing Vardy and Okazaki is no bad thing. We looked to be back in the counter attacking groove at the weekend and with Copenhagen having to push for a home win it may play into our hands.

That was then fella. We have gone back to what made us a success last season formation wise and we have seen us play much better football along the way. We seem to be getting better by the game. No offence to Zieler but we are a different side with Kasper in the sticks and Zieler was in goal at United if memory served. Copenhagen havent got Pogba and co either so this game will be different.

BTW we have been crying out for an average quality side to attack us this season and thats when we can pounce. Lets see what happens tomorrow night but Im very very confident.

Just wondering which list you've got that from?

Checking UEFA's club ranking, there are Premier league clubs below FC Copenhagen on all of them.

According to Bloomberg, in 2007, FC Copenhagen was the most valueable Club on the stock market in the world, topping Arsenal and Juventus.

FC Copenhages stadium has around 20% more capacity than the one of the English Champions.

Not saying it's the biggest club in the world.. But it's not microscopic either ;)

What sort of crowds do you get for league games out of interest?

Seems to have been answered already.

Do you think that's how the your fellow fox measures the size of the club? Obviously difficult for you to answer, just wondered, as you wrote it as a reply to my post.

I've asked this before but no one seems to have the answer. Does anyone know how many members there are of Leicester official fan club? Did the numbers explode after last season, or?

The games against United, Real Madrid and Barcelona were sold out in less than half an hour and the site crashed, still struggling to sell the last few thousands for Leicester with only 24 hours to go.

Oh well, let's just hope that people want to go see Kasper or Daniel or someone, so there won't be too  many empty seats.

Don't take it badly, surely Leicester's also met some teams more "exciting" than others, it doesn't mean that Leicester's a poor side though ;)

as much as I love leicester and as optimistic as I want to be

I don't think we will win tomorrow's game

now this doesn't imply that we're losing it , it could be a draw , but I don't think we can win away after what we pulled against them at home

but hey i might be wrong (I hope i am)

What if he gets a yellow against Brugges then?

Hope the extra allocation we've been given can make a difference. Sometimes a bigger end can be a bit disjointed, different songs being sang at the same time etc.

If we give it everything we can match the home end I'm sure of it. Brugge was just amazing, but let's try and beat that.

I cannot wait!!

You are not gooing to match the home crowd in this game, the end and one of the sides stands are active fans. Its 9000 supporters shouting all game long. And then add the other 20000 who will join in periods of the game. The atmosphere in Chl at Parken is just speciel, ive been around European stadiums and only the Danish Derby come cloose to have the same feeling.

Whit that being said, i look forward to welcoming you to Copenhagen, it was a wonderfull trip at leicester and i got a nice chat whit some of your supporters, all very friendly and fun. About the match its gonna be touch and go for us, every outcome is possiple whit a draw as most realistic imo. Hope you get a nice trip and a nice game, gonna try catching some of you for a beer and a laugh, see you tomorrow!

Two strong sides and no doubt, that the atmosphere will be absolutely crazy with that home crowd and the verbally strong foxes.

Both teams doing well and seem to be improving. Copenhagen undefeated in their league at home for years, Leicester's got room for improvement away.

Leicester stonger player by player, a solid Copenhagen backed by a maniac home crowd, I'm going for 1-1.

Btw, for those missing out on the game, here's a feeling of what it's like there: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/03/fc-copenhagen-brondby-video-field-epic Quote the American journalist: " I never knew I wanted to go to Denmark, let alone see a soccer game there, but now I must do both before I die. Then he gets banned for Porto, which we probably rather have him available for, for obvious reasons..

Unless we win at Copenhagen and at Brugge, making Porto a dead rubber by then.

Meh. If we win at Copenhagen or Brugges, we'll be through in second place anyway. Two objectives for the Brugges match then. Sad to see the dragon slayer miss the dragons, but I'd rather see him available for the last sixteen.
