Guest Papasmurf Posted 30 October 2016 Posted 30 October 2016 Gutted I'm missing this. If it's half as good as Bruges was everybody is going to have a blast.
ealingfox Posted 30 October 2016 Posted 30 October 2016 Winning 0-2 in their league game, 10 mins left.
harpendenfox Posted 30 October 2016 Posted 30 October 2016 they won 3-1 away, which looks pretty comfortable. An extra 24 hours of recovery time won't do us any harm though. Fine margins and all that
brucey Posted 30 October 2016 Posted 30 October 2016 Looks like they went full strength for their league game (as did we) Nicely taken goals too, by the looks of it http://sidelinien.dk/forums/showthread.php?42634-Optakts-og-kamptråd-FC-Midtjylland-FC-København-(30-10-16-kl-18-00)
hatasi Posted 30 October 2016 Posted 30 October 2016 it could be the most important match this season as we will go to the next round if we win, i think it would be 2-2 but hope to win

lgfualol Posted 30 October 2016 Posted 30 October 2016 Got to keep Santander quiet, you can bank on him scoring if Huth and Morgan aren't sharp.
Vlad the Fox Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 Think this will be a really tough away with plenty of stout defending needed, however I'm hopeful of a draw or maybe Nick a 1-0. Can't wait.

He must be pretty good: There's been a lot of interest in him lately and looking at the Copenhagen board the fans are all sounding their appreciation, reckon he'd make a good investment come January? Fixed rate mortgage.

By all accounts he's playing a more withdrawn position lately.. he's no Lloyd Dyer, but superior to Ross Barkley.. you could search Nationwide and not find better!

KFS Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 You dicks, I genuinely thought you were analysing this guy as a threat wake up
Ted Maul Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 Just had a look at their form- they're having a great season and are historically good at home in Europe. Really tricky game. Massively jealous of everyone going, it's a great city. Not as expensive as its reputation would suggest either if you stick to more traditional pubs and drink the local brew (plenty of options).
MrSpaM Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 Everything sorted and just got to get on the plane now
BrummieFOX Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 Everyone just going to walk to the ground again? Brugge was annoying with the diversion but this seems straight forward.
jammie82uk Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 Stat time Leicester City claimed a 1-0 home win over Copenhagen on matchday three; their only previous encounter. Copenhagen have lost only two of their 11 home games in the Champions League (W6 D3). Leicester City’s only previous away game in the Champions League ended in a 3-0 win against Club Brugge. English clubs have won five of their six away games against Danish opposition in the European Cup/Champions League, keeping a clean sheet in each of their last three trips. Leicester City have won more games this season (3) than they had managed in their previous European history (2 in 8 games). Leicester City are only the fifth team in Champions League history to win their opening three games in the competition (Milan in 92/93, PSG in 94/95, Juventus in 95/96 and Malaga in 12/13). Indeed, Leicester City are one of only three teams to keep clean sheets in their opening three Champions League games (Parma in 97/98 and Malaga in 12/13). On each of the previous 64 occasions when a side has won their opening three Champions League group stage games they have gone on to progress to the next stage (inc second group stage). Copenhagen have already scored more goals this season (5) than they did in their last Champions League group stage appearance (4 in 2013/14). Copenhagen’s five goals in this season’s Champions League have all been scored after half-time. The Foxes only managed to record two shots on target when they hosted Copenhangen on matchday three; scoring with one of them. Riyad Mahrez has been directly involved in four of Leicester City’s five Champions League goals, scoring three times and claiming an assist.

If it's dry it's only a 30-40 minute walk which is nothing and should be great with loads of others, hope plenty are intending to walk there.

I think it's probably more like 45mins but still easily done for most.
Detroit Blues Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 I think having rested Slimani against Tottenham, Ranieri will be starting him against Copenhagen. Same could be true with Albrighton. I also think this might be an opportunity to give King a rest, and get Amartey back into the mix against his old team. I'd expect it to be: 4-4-1-1 Schmeichel Hernandez Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Amartey Albrighton Okazaki Slimani Subs: Zeiler, Vardy, Ulloa, Schlupp, Simpson, King, Gray
foxes21 Posted 31 October 2016 Posted 31 October 2016 I think Vardy's pace will be important for this game. They have to go for it & they played quite a high line against us at home. There will be lots of space for Vardy Imo.

Yeah me too, I'm on the TC trip but no way am I getting ferried to the ground that long before kick off, should be fine to walk.
