when is mendy back?

Does anyone know when Mendy will be back match fit. I don't know if he is the answer to our midfield problems as I didn't get to see him in action much, not heard much about his injury but thought he would be back by now?

Seriously guys, was he a bad buy or what, I didn't think he would be out this long!

We were incredibly lucky with how few injuries we had last season, so our luck was always going to run out. We won't know if he is a bad buy until he does come back and play 10-15 games. He had no significant history of injuries and this one was a bit of freak accident, so can't really blame the recruitment side of things. I still think he will prove to be a decent buy once he finally does get fit and gets a chance to settle in the Prem. He was captain of a decent team, in a very competitive league, so he must have something about him.

Looking at the time he injured himself, and I was dead inline with him, I said straight away,  that's a bad injury, I thought he broke it.

The lad has been very unlucky, by all accounts he had to have bone removed after the first lay off, and then another set back.

NO Just NO

Comments like this make me wish I could give minus reps.

He's had no time on the pitch to prove either way good or bad. He's injured not a poor footballer and when fit deserves a chance.

Akinbadbuy was a bad buy a player getting a bad injury after 45 mins is UNLUCKY.

Claudio has said he's back in training along with Chilwell.

The problem is, Matty James has supposedly been back in training for about a year and has been nowhere near the team. Let's hope he can get fit by Xmas time, really looking forward to seeing him play. He looked crap vs Arsenal first half but started the 2nd half well and then went off.

Harsh to say he looked crap, he didn't do a great deal but wasn't rubbish. You could look at the 5-2 game and say Kante looked crap as Arsenal on their game can pass it around anyone.

It looked like he was off the pace in the first half, from my distant memory the first 5 minutes of second half looked better.

I seem to remember at Bournemouth away Kante looking less than spectacular.

Positionally I thought he was way off it but it was his first game for us, I'm fairly confident once fit he'll be a fantastic player for us.

I just thought he looked a step behind the play, but being in a new league it takes time to get up to that pace... especially against a team who play it so quickly.

He'll be fit for the CL Final

On a serious note, I'd be happy to hear him and James will be in contention soon.

We need some good news in the midfield department

Otherwise get the Cheque Book out again
