Yeah, but Mendy's better than King and Amartey. If anything, King would play further forward if he had the choice. Also, Mendy might not sprint up the pitch but his passing is very good.

Watch it Babylon will be questioning your scouting ability if you can tell that after 2.5 games....

Thank god his better then King, let's be honest he's only around still because everyone else has been sold or injured over the the last few years!

I think Amartey has a lot of potential to be a good player for us, it's going to me difficult fitting him, Mendy, Ndidi and Drinky in the side.

I was talk about the type of player his  is i.e. a defensive midfielder, both King and Amartey can play that role, we seem to be collect that's sort of player! We need players who are more balanced in my opinion, Kante could put a foot in but could also run with the ball and pass it.

I just feel our squad isn't very balance in the centre of the park, if Drinkwater doesn't play, we don't have another playmaker.

As I stated hopefully he prove me wrong!

King isn't a DMand Amartey is still just learning the role.

So he's better than King? So he does offer something else then.

He plays like one, count the number of foward passes he plays, he screens the space in front of the back four, King has changed over the years, he use to be an attacking CM, but his game has changed as he has got older!

You criticised me for judging he after 1.5 games know you want me to judge him after and extra game I only listened to on the radio? Can't have it both way lol.

It might be..but isnt that the idea of a successfull side, quality replacements..short, fringe, ready and willing.

Mendy for instance has just Returned from a longterm injury.Plus Amartey, and King went through our 1st games

Shrouded in nothing but heavy and light criticism, and being Chastised has nothing but Championship players.

Should we be looking at Amartey more as CD rather than DM now that we seem to be addressing the midfield issues with Mendy, DD and Ndidi?

I don't think Amartey is good enough on the ball to play CM. I would like to see him at CB in the future.

I think we should be looking to play him beside Huth or Morgan at some point as the season progresses if we pull away at the bottom as a replacement ultimately.

Amartey's passing has improved a lot since he first played, he plays the ball quickly and breaks the press

I just think he will be better suited at CB, especially with Mendy, Ndidi and Drinkwater.

Agree. He would also then be available as backup CM in case of injuries, etc. Handy having such as versatile player, and bought with that in mind. I seem to remember Claudio saying it would give him options at the time.
