Vardy nominated for BBC SPOTY

Football is too partisan really, other clubs fans aren't going to vote for him in big enough numbers. Would have had to drag us through a few rounds at the Euros to even be in with a shout.

Key player in the greatest miracle in sporting history and typifies the underdog beating adversity story that Brits love so much yet some sour Jock has it wrapped up for winning a few tennis matches. Disgrace.

Regardless of his sporting achievement (which should be the only thing that counts) but he's a bit of unsavoury character. I think Ranieri would be a better choice but I vaguely remember he's got an award already for last season

He's not British Wookie.

I think it's only for Britons so Ranieri doesn't qualify. Ranieri's award was GQ man of the year.

Good point claudio has more personality than vardy or Murray. But he can't be nominated.

May get coach of the year or an overseas award.
