Me and my brother were about 5 rows from the front, didn't get wet and thought we had a good view

As you say, a poor view for the far right corner of the ground from there, rather like Selhurst Park reversed. You find yourself watching the big screen in the opposite corner when someone's attacking up that wing. Local Scallies will mind your car for some money, my mate was approached by them so drove somewhere else to park.
billyn88 Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 On the upside acoustics are good in the away end so easier to get an atmosphere going than somewhere like Brighton where it's really open. However if we go 2 down quickly it'll be like a morgue, only time I can remember a great atmosphere while getting battered was when we went 3-0 down within 20 minutes at Sheffield united with kisnorbo sent off.
crazyleicester Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Gray will score a hat-trick Bring on round 4
Jonezy Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Bloody hell. Every frickin year; team from same league away and we probably play them in league close to the frickin cup game as well.... Dang it!!

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Destined never to win the FA Cup then? the only one left I really want us to win (apart from Champions League obviously lol)
Koke Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Been to Goodison 3 times. Twice amongst Chelsea fans (one of my in laws is a Chelsea fan), all 3 times I was lucky enough to have a great view. Upton Park is a bitch though. That's one ground I don't miss.

Master Fox Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Nailed on defeat. What an awful draw. At least we'll be out early doors. What an unforgettable fixture. Wish we could just drop out and forefeit the game.
Tuna Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Well what a horrible draw that was, I mean it couldn't be worse could it?
AjcW Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 To be fair... despite its floors it was brilliant away last season! I always look back and say that's when I should have put the "win the league" bet on. Also Liverpool is a brilliant weekend away so I'll be going if I can
