Yes, I know what you're trying to say, we had to be kept back so that other teams could avoid a team from the same country or group. I'm not even sure if that's any clearer. But thanks anyway!

Sevilla have lost just 3 home games in their European history - against Alkmaar, CSKA Moscow & Real Betis Think we'd do very well to get a draw there! They lost 3-1 to Juventus in the group stage.

Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Booked on the 7pm Stanstead flight to Malaga on the 21st. If anyone's arranging a tour bus from Malaga on the 22nd morning I and a mate would be interested. Train fares gone up to about £50+ rtn
GaelicFox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 This might be the last ever away champions league game most of us will ever see again couldn't care less if the flights were £1000 it's a must do game

But I wouldn't be surprised if that is cancelled or they ask for more money. They are just a broker so will go to book the flights for you and will see the prices have changed dramatically
Fox92 Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Been looking now and can only find expensive flights back!?

Return flight from Malaga at 10.45am on the 23rd , will leave Seville around 8am again via cab. On the plus side, return flight was £55 in total! Pm sent

It's a big ask to win there, so I'd say the target is to grab a score draw. Do that, and with their away record in Europe, and we've put ourselves in a good position.
Raj Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 The Thomas Cook package looks about £300. https://www.thomascooksport.com/event/Sevilla-FC-v-Leicester-City---Day-Trip-PLUS-Match-Ticket-/12795

I am absolutely broke for a number of reasons so I didn't fancy paying £200 for something I could pay half for.

DaveSFC Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Hey guys Sevilla fan here! (and since last season, LCFC admirer) Just wanted to recommend Malaga airport, or even Madrid (the high speed train brings you to Seville in just 2,3 hrs) even with the commute it might be much cheaper than flying to Seville. Hotels should be cheap that time of the year, just don't book them too close to the stadium, they always inflate prices when there's european football ! The stadium's just 3 tube stops from the center anyway. Don't forget to visit the Alcazar while you're here (where they filmed Game of Thrones) and Plaza de España (Star Wars ep. II) As for the draw, well, we both seem happy with it (you more than us, seeing as you avoided Bayern, Madrid and PSG) but don't underestimate us : D

Seville looks great and cant wait to get over there, Would be great if you could share a few tips etc like you have above maybe of places to go for a beer and such.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 £80 rtn Malaga. Very excited. How many do we think will head over 2,3,4k??
demon_dog Posted 12 December 2016 Posted 12 December 2016 Anyone thought of flying from a different airport other than Stansted / Luton. I have just checked and you can go by Ryanair on Tues 21st Back 23rd from Newcastle to Malaga for approx. £60 return. Just a thought.
