£431 return now from stansted to seville hahahahahahahaha

As daft as it sounds, I went to the website for on the beach, booked a 2 day package holiday, flying from Birmingham to Malaga, £100 each including two nights hotel, might be worth a try

It's because teams from the same nation can't play each other, if we had drawn Leverkusen then I'm sure an all Spanish tie would have been drawn therefore they had to stop us being drawn against them if that makes sense?

Yes, I know what you're trying to say, we had to be kept back so that other teams could avoid a team from the same country or group.

I'm not even sure if that's any clearer. lol But thanks anyway!

Just seen the e-mail from Leicester with the date and club information.

This bit stood out...

Sevilla have lost just 3 home games in their European history - against Alkmaar, CSKA Moscow & Real Betis

Think we'd do very well to get a draw there!

They lost 3-1 to Juventus in the group stage.

blame the club's e-mail then lol . Or maybe they just mean knockout games?

This might be the last ever away champions league game most of us will ever see again

couldn't care less if the flights were £1000 it's a must do game

Hope it works out mate. But I wouldn't be surprised if that is cancelled or they ask for more money. They are just a broker so will go to book the flights for you and will see the prices have changed dramatically

Landing 10.10am from Bristol to Malaga on the 22nd, if anyone wants to share a cab let me know, two of us already in. Return flight from Malaga at 10.45am on the 23rd :o, will leave Seville around 8am again via cab.

On the plus side, return flight was £55 in total!

That might be it!

It's a big ask to win there, so I'd say the target is to grab a score draw. Do that, and with their away record in Europe, and we've put ourselves in a good position.

What's the point in paying that when you can go to another airport and commute from there?

I am absolutely broke for a number of reasons so I didn't fancy paying £200 for something I could pay half for.

Hey guys Sevilla fan here! (and since last season, LCFC admirer) Just wanted to recommend Malaga airport, or even Madrid (the high speed train brings you to Seville in just 2,3 hrs) even with the commute it might be much cheaper than flying to Seville. Hotels should be cheap that time of the year, just don't book them too close to the stadium, they always inflate prices when there's european football ! The stadium's just 3 tube stops from the center anyway.  Don't forget to visit the Alcazar while you're here (where they filmed Game of Thrones) and Plaza de España (Star Wars ep. II)

As for the draw, well, we both seem happy with it (you more than us, seeing as you avoided Bayern, Madrid and PSG) but don't underestimate us : D

Welcome to the forum, I think anyone that underestimates you could look pretty daft but like you say we avoided a few nailed on exits so thats a plus.

Seville looks great and cant wait to get over there, Would be great if you could share a few tips etc like you have above maybe of places to go for a beer and such.

Anyone thought of flying from a different airport other than Stansted / Luton.

I have just checked and you can go by Ryanair on Tues 21st Back 23rd from Newcastle to Malaga for approx. £60 return.

Just a thought.
