Jaspa Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Denis Wise cant really be surpassed with the Callum Davidson incident and the case regarding his contract when we were financially going under. Fryatt was abit of a jeb for giving the Kop the bigg'un when he scored for Hull, we cheered him for years through thick and thin.

He's not one of the most unlikeable, I don't think. There's a pretty huge gap between Beckford and Dennis Wise. I'd put Beckford in a second tier with Mills, Kermorgant etc.

lcfcben76 Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 The beckford hat trick vs Forest doesn't put him in that same category for me
The whole world smiles Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Bit controversial but personally not Vardy's biggest fan off the pitch. On the pitch however it's a very different story.

Donut Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Danny Tiatto neither had skill, or a good personality. And was a hacker. Dennis Wise obviously. Jamie Vardy is basically a complete nob, but has good football skills and hes ours, so we love him

Yup got a mate who's a Leeds fan who was saying he doesn't know how I can support city with them pair in it. I tried to explain that 1. They had lee boweyer as captain and 2. the difference between the personality and lifestyles of your average fan to your average footballer is so vast that I don't feel anything towards most of them as people my relationship with them is purely about what they do on the pitch. It's why I have zero interest in reading his autobiography.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Not sure why the question needs asking. There's only one contender who stands out like an annoying Cockney get. Can't bring myself to name the filth.

It it gets a bit of a slating on here but bar his version of the altercation outside the nightclub when he got done for affray which has more holes it than a block of Swiss cheese it's a decent read. it is interesting to read about someone who has literally lived and breathed football and wanted to play no matter how many knock backs he got or what level it was at.
