Birch taken ill at awards ceremony

Worrying news from Mercury Sports awards.

 

My mate just messaged me to say The Birch went down during his presentation. Awards ceremony being cleared. Hopefully not as serious as it currently seems. 

 

*Updated at 11pm* After medical attention, Alan was up and breathing and taken away by paramedics.

I'm currently here, and can confirm he's had a heart attack. 

 

They've had to use the defibrillator. It's not looking good for birch.

Saw the title after having read the Graham Taylor thread and I immediately knew it was something bad.

 

Glad to hear he's still alive and kicking. Get well soon again, Birch. The club needs you - heck, we love you.
