It's not that he's a particularly special player, just that I can't imagine a better upgrade on Okazaki to play with Vardy. Team player, no huge ego, knows the game. I understand the concept of a football manager not wishing to reveal the extent of his true need for a player in a certain position in order to try and keep the transfer fee and wage demands sky rocketing.

I agree entirely. We can essentially ignore anything the club says about transfers. In my view, it's the best way. Ndidi being the perfect example.
