Wes is captain and pretty much for the morale of the team undroppable. He needs a Huth like bruiser alongside him.

Was is past it really Hernandez and Benny aren't the right type to partner Wes.

Well,  him to be dropped is in the best interest of the club. No one has a guaranteed spot. The best should play, That's all. Choices based on emotions are good and all, until you start playing in league one.

Only Ranieri can answer your last question. Ranieri somehow thinks a 36 year old Polish liability should be ahead of the two centre backs HE signed. Journalists should seriously ask him that. Why is it that you have signed 2 CBs and one is rotting away in the reserves and the other is sold six months after arriving. The treatment of Benalouane is actually shocking.

I agree with you that Hernandez probably wasn't good enough anyway, and I'm also pisssed off about the abysmal recruitment.

I agree entirely with this. You have got to ask serious questions of the fact our only defender brought in this summer was a free agent who we deem to be a weaker option than Wasilewski.

Our summer looks more ridiculous by the week. Genuinely astonishing level of mismanagement.

Amazing he never got a proper chance in his preferred position. Either he was woeful or Claudio's faith in Huth and Morgan is blind.

Ranieri's apparent dream team:

Musa      Vardy     Slimani      Mahrez

                     Okazaki

Albrighton Mendy  Fuchs   Drinkwater

                  Wasilewski

The bad side of this to me is that we have wasted many months with him. The money at this level is irrelevant to a club in the Premier League but time is not. We've spent time having a player registered in a position we urgently needed to upgrade in the summer and instead of going and buying two quality centre halves we decided to stick with the two we have, an aging Pole and this free transfer. Now we have less than a week to go in the transfer window and little sign of any centre backs coming in. Though we have two young midfielders who will probably be asked by Ranieri to play in that position.

Shocking recruitment and shocking management.

was never really a first team regular, and I doubt he could get used to the speed of the Premier league!. we needed to have signed experienced defenders who know the premier league yes they wouldn't come cheap but will be even more expensive now as everyone knows we are desperate and really short of cover defensively

Absolutely. We all know how fast Morgan, Wasyl and Huth are and how good their ball control is. Clearly he never could do any better than them.

One of our many recent odd decesions

Wasilewski to be our backup until he's 50!

It doesn't matter what age he is, his right hand will never loose that vice like grip..

And he'll be able to clothes line people up to the day he can no longer walk

I miss him already. :(

Clearly states that he sees himself as a centre-back and not a full-back (around the 5-minute mark).

Then goes on to say he wasn't given a chance at Leicester, but is thankful for the Champions League experience (minute 7:00 onwards).

Question: Do you guys think selling Hernandez means that Ranieri plans on playing Amartey at CB? Maybe he was impressed by Amartey's performance in the African cup.
