About three people linked all window and now about 20 in 24 hours.

Something smells a bit fishy.

I actually like it a little. I think the club is doing this so the other clubs can't strong-arm them to overpay. I would've liked if we ended the transfers early but, it is what it is.

Or agents know we're desperate in these positions and they can advertise on the back of it, whether we actually even know who their player is.

Honestly, it can go either way. I don't mind it if we are actually benefiting from it.

I know I'm probably going to be slaughtered here for this, as a doom and gloom, anti CR conspiritulist poster as I was when posting negative remarks regarding the whole cambiasso situation, but hey ho. Does any one wonder whether the lack of real business done in this window has anything to do with the club looking at where and how we have got to the position we are in the table, and seriously thinking about sacking CR soon. So not really looking to add massive fees and wages in a desperate way, thinking that an incoming manager would have to just work with what we have and hope it all pans out.

Was talking with my son over the recruitment over the last season and a half. You know, the Walsh v Ranieri picks of players. He was saying that a lot of our current new incomings were Walsh influenced and tracked, and that some were showing to be not great signings this season, and that Walsh had maybe lost his touch recently to find quality players which led me to think as a manager of his status of world, esp European football how come in a season and a half, and four windows, has he to my knowledge not found one single quality player that has really benefitted the club successfully. Is this the reason we are quiet in the transfer market?  The owners have lost faith in his Italian heavy scouting network and as he is on his last legs decided to just make do and hope things do work out?

I did wonder at the time whether we would go after any of Copenhagen's back line- they all looked pretty solid, and players from Danish clubs generally don't command huge price tags.

Scandinavian defenders have generally done okay in England, haven't they?
