Ian Nacho Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 I'm just wondering what everyone's opinion is regarding the strongest squad at the moment. This is what I think. It's too early to judge Wagué at the moment but he can't be much worse than anyone else we've got. Also we need to play it out from the back more instead of just lumping it up the pitch hence the two defensive midfielders who also offer defensive support. We can't play Vardy with the service we're providing at the moment, we can't even string a couple of passes together in the middle of the park let alone play some of the balls we were playing Vardy last year. I'm keen to see what everyone else thinks the strongest lineup is.
Guest the fox Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Wague is yet to play a minute and mahrez is not good behind the striker. And yeah, I would bench morgen before huth

vanity Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 I generally agree save for the blind trust in Wague and the exclusion of Drinkwater. Drinks is one of the only players we have with any touch on the ball. I think he has to be out there. I'd probably consider Amartey at CB and lose one of Wague or Morgan once we see Wague train.
weller54 Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Drinkwater has been a disgrace all season... Agree both he and Vardy should be axed.
Babylon Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 If they aren't coached to pass and move and support people in the right areas, we can play any blooming formation and any 11 players and it won't make the blindest bit of difference.

He was basically at one point the only one who gave a shit but now it seems like "can't beat them? join them"

LCFC FOX Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Schmeichel Simpson Wague Huth Chilwell Amartey Mendy Ndidi Gray Slimani Mahrez i believe would be our strongest team at the minute.
Sir Shep Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Kasper Simo Huth Morgan Fuchs (Yes we are basically stuck with this defence now) Musa or Gray on the left Armartey Ndidi King Mahrez on the right Slim For me Albrighton is far better on the right but I'd play Mahrez there Armartey and Ndidi to cover defensively allowing the fullbacks to push on (well at least Fuchs anyway!). Armartey can also drive forward and support King who can attack and shoot on target which is why I chose him over Drinky. Slim seems the obvious choice for me up front. But then I don't manage football so I'm sure this team won't suit a lot of you, just putting it out there!
funkyrobot Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 When Andy King is in your best side, deep down you know, everything is broken.
Gazza M Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 F**k it. Wholesale changes. Sick of the dross we serve up. Some big names need a bloody long rest. Kasper Amartey Wague Huth Chilwell Mendy Ndidi Albrighton Marhez Gray Slimani
foxes21 Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Kasper amartey, ndidi, wague, chilwell albrighton, drinkwater, mendy, kapustka mahrez slimani
FuchingKante Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 Drinkwater and Albrighton shouldn't be anywhere near the side at the moment

smr Posted 1 February 2017 Posted 1 February 2017 this is exactly why we are crap at the moment....thats our strongest team which i agree with but how many times (bar molla) have they played together? we've chopped and changed too much this season, no wonder the players look lost.
